APPLIED TECHNOLOGY
The 2 reasons why I decided to study at Humber were firstly because
the professors take a real interest in helping the students and
secondly because the programs with work placements are practical
and will help me in my career. I think the best part of the classroom
experience is that from the start of your program you are working
in the mechanical engineering labs learning through a hands-on
approach. Learning how to work with raw materials and precisely
measure dimensions are an asset for my future career in the industry.

I chose this program based on my previous interactions with the
professors and program coordinator who were always ready to help.
I learned a lot about the fashion industry from my professors’
first-hand experience. They make the classes fun, light and interactive.
After graduation, I would love to have my own business in the

HEALTH SCIENCES
What I enjoyed most about studying biotechnology at Humber
was being given the opportunity to spend eight hours per week
in a lab environment, working with my colleagues and professors
in different experiments. I just got a job as a Biotech Document
Reviewer, and I will be responsible for reviewing and approving
the results of chemical and biological analyses.

about sports I enjoyed it. My professors were the best part of the

LIBERAL ARTS AND
SCIENCES
Before starting my graduate certificate in project management at
Humber, I had to complete the English for Academic Purpose (EAP)
program. I started with level 7 after taking a placement test, and I am
now in level 8. Taking EAP has helped me to prepare not just for my
program, but also for my career. I hope to apply for a management
position in a construction company in Toronto after I graduate.
