under and above the foundation bases.

 Working Methodology Statement–Installation of 11 KVA
PANEL Lifting Shifting & Installation Works

PROJECT:PROPOSED FOR BYTES DATA CENTER NAVI MUMBAI

 Scope & Objective

The purpose of generating this method statement is to define the procedure to lifting LT PANEL &
position to move the LT PANEL Foundation at final location.

 Reference

F15 FORANA crane third party tested D shackle, wire rope sling, and safety belt. Original TPI
certificate will submit.

 Responsibilities

.1 Project Manager (Engineer-In charge):

 Ensure all required submittals area made and required plant/ tools/ material and manpower is
available in timely manner.
 Ensure necessary coordination with all involved for timely completion of job.
 To obtain work permit.
 Prepare JSA

2. Safety Manager /Safety Officer-

 Give all team members to attend Job specific training discussion.
 Ensure as per Lifting plan arrangements of F15 FORANA & Tools Tackles should be Inspected
Before mobilize the crane.
 With competent person crane & Tools Tackles 3rd party inspection done on site location.

  Ensure before start the activity all erection team member briefly explain details lifting plan, work
method statement, Job specific analysis discuses all risk & hazards.
 Full time monitors all in this activity with site in charge / supervisor.
 Don’t enter any other person or man movements in to barricaded area.
 Tools/ Machinery used during site execution

 Equipment and machinery required for this activity as per listed below.
 Forana F15 Crane Lifting tool such as D shackle, web sling /Belt .Original TPI certificate will be
submit.

 Work location /Access Requirement.

 The arrangement of F15 FORANA crane to reach at allocated area shall be

done.
 Availability of space to be check for FORANA Crane for movement.

 Method:

 Lifting work permit to be obtain from issuing authority before start the activity.
 Barricade all the area before start the Shifting the LT PANEL work .
 Only trained team deployed in this erection & shifting activity.
 All workers safety induction& physical fitness test done.
 Take all team members done the job specific training.
 LT PANEL Set will be lift and move kept on channel trench one by one.
 Lift the LT PANEL 08 nos LT PANEL in 450 TO 750 PER COLOUMN In Weight each set 2.2
mtrs Length & 600 mtrs Width by F15 FORONA Crane EIGHT no’s 750 KG capacity by
using slings/lifting belts, D-Shackle (6.5 MT capacity) and ladder.
 Position the FORONA F15 Crane for lift the LT PANEL Set , Radius of crane will be 12 to 14
Mtr.
 Flag man/signal man to be providing during shifting & position work.
 2 workmen will be holding the guide ropes for guiding the LT PANEL set while lifting.
 Place the LT PANEL set slowly on position.
 Ladder to be used for going to top of LT PANEL Set for fixing sling/D shackles.
 FORONA F15Crane movement slowly shifting the Resting position of LT PANEL set .

  Working area should be barricaded and hindrance free before shifting & position the LT
PANEL
 No person should work in the area while erection work is in Progress.
 Cable trench excavation openining should be full ally covered or barricade highlighting
this area before start the activity.
 Safety Harness should be worn and shall be fixed in truss or rafter while working in
height
 All the people who are assisting for erection work will be worn safety helmets and
Safety shoes.
 Other Acoustic material shifting near Foundation area by using F15 Farana.

 Work should be carried out as per only approved JSA

 Proper illumination (250 lx min) shall be provided while working in Night

Risk assessment (JSA) shall be done by safety officer in consultation with the construction manager
and accordingly preventive measures to be taken.
