Dear Reader,

My Name is Stefan Ciancio…

I got started online selling physical products. Nothing glamorous - I was a


reseller for products I found for cheap prices at garage sales and thrift shops.
Not that I didn’t love haggling with soccer moms to sell their sons old video
games for big profits, but I felt like maybe I was onto something with the
whole make money online thing.

I still build lists, do CPA, affiliate marketing, and sell my own products. A
stable traffic source like Bing fuels all that.

My online efforts have allowed me to fulfill the marketer’s dream and leave
my day job in August of 2015. I now stand before you living proof that the

In my free time I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, watching movies,

MODULE 1: OUTLINE OF THE


MODEL

Welcome to Module 1!

In this module, I will give you a very clear outline of how this model works.

If anything sounds confusing, don’t worry: I will go through the details in the
later chapters. Also, don’t forget about my awesome Facebook group where

What’s the point?


The method that we are following works like this.

1) Set up our accounts. Don’t worry, this is straight forward.


2) Find something you want to promote. Perhaps you have a business and
want to promote a certain offer for it, or you have a CPA or affiliate offer
that you want to promote. We will cover finding something to promote
if you don’t have something.
3) Set up our landing page. You might already have one or maybe you want
to direct link, but I’ll take you through setting this up.
4) Start our keyword research. Maybe you’ve seen keyword research done
before, but I do things a bit differently. You’ll see how to get the exact
keywords you need.
5) Ad copy research. I will reveal how to pick the right ad copy.
6) Run the ad and see what results we get.
7) Test and tweak.
8) Profit!

Don’t forget our clicks will all be Tier 1 USA clicks, the best kind.

On a tight budget? That’s ok – we can start with a very low budget of just 5
dollars per day.

Benefit of Cheap Clicks


CPA Example

Let’s say you have a CPA offer, an email submit, paying out $2.00 per single
optin lead.

You pay for 200 clicks to a landing page at 7 cents a click.

Total cost is 200 x .07 = $14 spent.

40% click through to the offer page, 200 x .4 = 80 clicks.

25% of those 80 opt in to the page, 20 optins.

20 optins x $2 = $40

Spent $14, made $40.

This is a 285% ROI!

Now, generally speaking, our EPC (earnings per click) were $40/200 clicks =
$0.20 per click, which is actually quite low.

However, since we’re able to get the clicks for just 7 cents each, we are in
massive profit when we earn back 20 cents per click!

Let’s take another look at this with affiliate marketing.

Affiliate Marketing Example

Let’s say you have an affiliate marketing product, paying out $30.00
commission per sale.

You pay for 400 clicks to a landing page, 11 cents per click.

Total cost is 400 x .11, $44 spent.

Of those 400, 40% click through to the offer page.

That’s 160 warmed up eyeballs on the offer (they clicked from the landing
page, so they are interested).

Of those 160, a modest 3 buy the product.

3 x $30 = $90 commissions

Spent $44, made $90

204% ROI !

But wait, this even works with “traditional” businesses…

Roofer Business Example

A roofer runs 2000 clicks to his landing page at 25 cents per click.

2000 clicks x .25 is $500 spent.

He receives 5 phone calls from the 2000 clicks that saw his number on the
landing page.

A modest 1 person books with him, a repair job for $5,000 payout.

Spent $500, made $5000. Let’s say his expenses for the job are $2,000.

Net profit $3,000 before ad spend.

Spent $500, made $3000.

A 600% ROI for the roofer!

You see, this really can be applied to any scenario.

MODULE 2: GETTING YOUR TOOLS

Here we will cover the basic tools that you will need to get started.

Domain and Hosting


If you are already have these, then you can skip this section.

I recommend you register a domain at Godaddy for $1, just search on google
for “Godaddy coupon code”. There will be tons of video tutorials on the
internet on how to attach this to your hosting. If you buy through your
hosting, it might be a few dollars more, but you’ll skip a step of bringing your
Godaddy domain into your hosting. Either way it’s your choice which route to
take, they both get you to the same destination.

Hosting is a service that contains the information that your website consists
of. The website consists of folders and files, just like the files on your
computer.

The hosting company holds them for you, and makes them available to the
whole world to browse.

So if someone types in yourdomainname.com into their browser, they will see


your website - and your website will be shown to them by your hosting
company.

You need hosting, there's no way around it :)

I personally use D9 - they are an absolutely awesome company, and they are
very cheap. I've been with other hosting companies (Hostgator), but D9 is
faster.

Get their cheapest package, it's only $6.95 per month.

You can get creative with the domain names, but I recommend registering one
quickly so you don't waste too much time.

You may come across some popular names that are taken, so just keep
searching till you find something that's available.

Something like "listbuildingwithgreg.com" or "myonlinetips.com" will work


just fine.

Select the ".com" option - it's the best and easiest to remember.

Follow the prompts to buy and pay for it.

Your account should get set up in 1-2 hours, you'll get an email with advice.

Autoresponder
Note that this is ONLY required if you plan on building a list. Later on in the
report I’ll explain the fork in the road as far as list building goes, and you can
decide if this is something else you want to add.

In my view, there are only two real choices in the marketplace - Aweber.com
and GetResponse.com

They are the only two serious competitors, and I strongly urge you to have an
account with one of them.

While there are many other competing products out there (MailChimp and
others), these two are by far the best - they offer the highest % of emails
delivered, best functionality, good pricing, etc.

They have been in business for decades, and are not going away any time
soon, so you can easily trust them.

So I suggest you make a choice and register for one or the other - it doesn't
really matter which one. Personally - I use Aweber today.

Page Creation Software


If you already have all your web pages set up by you or someone else, or have
superb coding skills, you don’t need a page creation software.

However, most of you will probably not fall into that boat, so you will need
some sort of software to create the web pages you will be showing for you.

Don’t worry; it’s very easy to work with any of the options I’ll present.

I’ll be presenting one free option and two options which are fairly
inexpensive, considering you will be using them for years to come and only
pay once.

Free Option: Kompozer with FileZilla

Kompozer is a free software that creates HTML pages for your web site. It’s
very easy to use, and resembles a word document editor like Microsoft Word
in terms of how difficult it is to use. There are also tons of tutorials out there if
you get stuck, just check on Google. You can get Kompozer here:

FileZilla will allow you to upload all these HTML pages you’re building for
your site with Kompozer to your site so people can see them. Again, there are
a ton of turorials for setting this up. You can get FileZille here:

Optimize Press

Optimize Press lets you use pre-made templates, or even start from scratch
creating your own pages. It’s perfect for what we will be doing. It also lets you
easily integrate auto responders if you decide you want to build a list. You can

InstaBuilder is very similar to Optimize Press. It has the same premade


template options as well as email integration. Basically it would be a personal

MODULE 3: NICHE RESEARCH

Note: You can skip this section if you already know what you want to sell
and/or know your niche. If you don’t know your niche, stick around for this
section.

Picking the right market, or niche, is fundamental to earning successfully


online. After all, some markets (niches) are full of lots of buyers, and others
aren’t.

I primarily deal with the I.M./M.M.O. (Internet Marketing/ Make Money


Online) niches, but we will cover with you your “best bet” niches and how to
pick a sub-niche within those.

At the highest level, your profitable niches are basically the following:

 Health
 Wealth
 Romance

These are your top level niches. From here, in order to have an even more
targeted audience, you will want to choose a sub-niche. For example, here is a
list of sub-niches inside the Health niche:

 Lose Weight
 Get a Six Pack
 Vegetarian Diet
 Obtain a Flat Stomach

Just for the sake of understanding what we’re saying, here’s how it would look
inside Wealth for finding sub-niches:

 Make Money Online


 Stock Trading
 Real Estate House Flipping
 Forex Trading

Now, I think you see what we are saying you need to do. Once we pick a niche
and sub niche, we will want to do some research of what people want to buy
within these niches. For example, what are their problems, dreams, and fears?

If you can relate to their problems, they will trust you and see you as the
authority on the subject, thus buying solutions you recommend.

One way to do this is check out Yahoo! Answers.

You can do so here: https://answers.yahoo.com/

When you click through to the Yahoo! Answers site, you will see a ton of
different topics on the left, simply go through the topics that relate to your
niche.

See what people are mainly asking about, and take note. You will see a lot of
recurring questions, this means that this is a topic people are looking for help
with in your niche of choice.

Once you have an idea of what your market is looking for, you are ready to
start exploring offers that solve problems in your niche.

To give you an example, if you went into “Beauty and Style”, you’d find tons of
“Am I Ugly?” and “Am I Pretty?” questions posted. Actually, MOST posts in that
section are asking this question. If your sub-niche was beauty, you know
people want a way to look pretty. What comes to mind for me immediately is
make-up products.

MODULE 4: WHAT TO PROMOTE


AND WHERE TO FIND IT

Note: If you already know what you want to sell, you can skip this section. If
you don’t have something to sell yet, don’t skip this section. I’ll cover a bunch
of different options so you can make an educated decision on what you want
to sell.

Now that you have decided on a niche, a sub-niche and have at least a general
idea of the common problems that you will be providing solutions for, it’s time
to explore the platform in which you will find the best offers to promote.

Option 1: Digital Goods (Clickbank/JVZoo/Warrior Plus)


Digital goods are usually how to guides, video courses, or things of that nature
in which people can learn something relevant to what they are interested in.

Those who own a dog that they have trouble training could very well be
interested in a course on super effective dog training techniques. This would
be a digital good.

One of the best sites out there for finding affiliate products in almost any hot
niche is Clickbank, www.clickbank.com. It also works extremely well with
Bing PPC traffic.

You will find tons of different offers within clickbank, and it’s important to
understand how exactly to pick the best offers.

We usually like to use the following “sniff tests” when choosing potential
offers to promote at Clickbank:

1) Gravity above 25
2) We genuinely would be interested in purchasing the product based on
the sales video (it draws us in)
3) When we google the course, we make sure not to be met with lots of
reviews saying “this product is awful” or “this product is a scam”

Note: We will not tell you that it’s absolutely mandatory to buy and go
through the course yourself (you can get it for a discount (or free if the
commission is 100%) if you buy through your own affiliate link) but if you
want to be completely ethical, this is a good idea.

Product quality is definitely important, and since you will be building a list,
you want to maintain a good relationship with them, so recommending a bad
product is not a good idea.

If the offer you are assessing passes through the above three “sniff tests” and
clearly solves a problem in your niche, then you have likely found a perfect
candidate to test out promoting in your funnel.

First you’ll want to go into Clickbank marketplace:

Then on the left hand side you’ll want to click the “e-business and e-
marketing” category:

… and the sort the results by Gravity:

If you’re not sure what Gravity is – basically just tells you how many people
have promoted this product and made a commission in the past 8 weeks.

So here you’ll be able to see that Google Sniper currently has Gravity of 341
which means that in the past 8 weeks 341 affiliates have made commissions
selling this product.

And of course they wouldn’t be promoting it if they weren’t making money


with it.

** Sites with good products for IM/MMO Niche Only **

If you are in the Internet Marketing/ Make Money Online niche, two more
sites you can find great offers to promote are:

JVZoo- www.jvzoo.com

Warrior Plus- www.warriorplus.com

There is no gravity metric on these sites, what you will want to look for here is
a product that has done at least 100+ sales (for the measurements to be
somewhat accurate), then you simply will replace “gravity” with measuring
EPC as follows:

1) An EPC of above $1.50 on an offer over 100 sales is a great offer to


promote. It means affiliates are earning, on average, $1.50 per targeted
click that they sent to the offer.

2) An EPC of $1.00-$1.50 on an offer over 100 sales is an o.k. offer. If the


product quality is good, and it directly solves a problem in your niche
and you really want to try it, then you can test it out and see how it
converts for you.
3) An EPC of less than $1.00 on an offer over 100 sales generally is a no-
go territory for us. It means your earnings per click can be very low,
making it not worth your while, especially with so many other high
converting offers out there.

One last thing to note about these sites is that you will need to be approved to
promote offers here. You simply will need to “request links” on offers, and you
can paste the following message in the box that comes up.

“I will be promoting this product through evergreen email marketing and


intend to bring steady sales over time”

Generally, you should get approved on most products that have been around
for at least 7 days. (Sometimes they are very selective for the first 7 days, only
approving the best affiliates, to keep their conversion numbers high).

Option 2: CPA Offers


CPA is a bit different than affiliate marketing usually, but follows the same
concept of getting a commission for someone completing an action (It stands
for Cost Per Action).

The type of CPA that people really like is free trial commissions. This is when
you get someone to sign up for a free trial to something (ex. An electric
cigarette, new beauty cream) and you get a commission.

The reason companies are willing to do this is because they know that for
every X amount of people you bring them, they will make a certain amount of
profit for the ones that go on to purchase something, and they are simply
paying you out some of that as an incentive to bring them leads.

So if you want to look for trial offers, you will want to first go to a web site
called Offer Vault- www.offervault.com

Here, you can search for trial offers using the search bar in your niche, and get
a feel for your niche and what type of offers are out there.

You can also get a feel for what payouts you can expect.

After you have an idea of what kind of products you want to promote, there
are other networks that are great for earning with CPA (trial offers).

Just so you can imagine what one of the landing pages may look like here is a
landing page for “Lord Of The Rings Online” game trial paying out $1.75 per
lead on Peerfly:

This is a solid landing page. It has clearly marked what the free trial is for,
there is a video for people to check out the game play, there’s a call to action
that’s a different color to make it stand out toward the bottom right “Sign Up
Today!”, so this offer would be a good one if I was trying to promote free
games.

So when it comes to picking offers, this is how it’s done. Don’t forget, there is
no way for us to know with absolute certainty how well an offer will convert
for us until we actually start testing.

We can only ensure we made the best possible “pre-promotion” selections so


that we give ourselves the best chance of success with our initial offer picks.

MODULE 5: YOUR PROMOTION


METHOD

Note: If you already know exactly what page you want to promote, then yon
also skip this section. Otherwise please stick around, I’ll be explaining to you
the differences in types of ways you can promote, namely 4 ways.

Four Ways You Can Promote with Bing PPC


There are four ways you can promote with Bing PPC that I’ll show you. I’ll
explain when you should use each one, and why.

1) Direct link the CPA/Affiliate offer’s sales page


2) Link to a landing page without email collection
3) Link to a squeeze page to collect emails
4) Link to your blog or web site

Option 1 Explained: Direct Linking

Direct linking an offer is the easiest way to get started promoting an offer. A
few things to note about Bing’s current policies:

 The page you link must have text based content (not image) to get a
good quality score
 Can’t have an exit popup
 Should avoid a page with just a video on it
 Must have Privacy Policy and Terms of Service linked somewhere on the
page

If you’re trying to sell an affiliate offer, usually you’re better off creating your
own landing page. When you direct link, you don’t have control of what’s on
the page, so the four bullets above usually are found. However, sometimes you
can find offers that are Bing PPC compliant.

If you’re strapped for time, you can use direct linking to get going and learn
the method, then switch to landing pages when you have time.

It’s been proven that landing pages increase conversions on offers. If you
direct link, your best bet would be to find an email or zip submit type offer. If
it’s compliant and is showing a free offer, this is basically a done-for-you
landing page. So these would be the best type for direct linking. If you try to
direct link a sales page, you might find that it’s hard to get many sales without
warming up the potential buyer with a landing (presell) page first.

Option 2 Explained: Landing Page No Optin

If you aren’t planning on building a list, this would be the next least “time
consuming” option compared to option 1.

A landing page allows you the flexibility to promote any offer that isn’t
compliant with Bing’s policies, since you can add in everything they look for
and not put anything they don’t allow.

I’m talking about things like exit popups, privacy policy, terms of service,
content on the page, etc.

That’s the first benefit of a landing page. The second benefit is that you will be
warming people up for the offer they will be clicking through to see on the
next page from your call to action.

This will drastically increase your conversions and give you a much higher
chance of earning more than you’re spending on ads.

Option 3 Explained: Squeeze Page To Build a List

This is the long term recommended option. However, it does take a bit more
startup work at the beginning.

This method involves linking a squeeze page offering to give something away
for free in your niche (a free report or video usually). People will have to opt
in to receive the gift to their email inbox. Once they opt in, you can link them
directly to the sales page.

The email they receive should link them to a download page where it also has
a link for them to check out the sales page for the product you’re trying to
promote again.

You can now send a follow up email for 7, 14, 21, 30 or however many days
you want to these leads and it will all be done on autopilot. You can also
promote many different offers to them in your niche

Option #4: Link To Your Blog Or Web Site

This is best suited if you have a brick and mortar type business or want to
promote general awareness of your business.

If you have a high value per sale business like roofing, DJ’ing, painting,
contracting, etc. then you can use this method to potentially see big profits like
the roofing example I gave above.

However, if your goal is simply profits, I do not recommend this route. I’m
including it just so you know that it’s another way to promote your business
and get results.

Technical setup
There are a million different tutorials for setting up your landing pages on the
internet using the tools I’ve provided earlier in this manual (Kompozer,
Optimize Press, Instabuilder). So I’ll skip going into detail on creating landing
pages. However, I will tell you to include the following on your landing
/squeeze pages:

 Privacy policy and terms of service. Check on Google for “copy and paste
privacy policy”, “copy and paste terms of service” for ones you can use
for your site.
 Catchy headline highly related to offer page
 4-5 emotional benefits of the product (can be taken directly from offer
page).
 A video if you can find one (potentially from offer page).
 Good looking images
 Ideally it would take this format:

Like I said, there are tons of videos out there to show you how to create
landing pages, plus there are plug and play templates ready in Instabuilder
and Optimize Press.

You can also easily outsource the creation of a squeeze page on Fiverr for 5
bucks- www.fiverr.com

I’ll quickly go over creating a list if this is the route you want to go:

Creating your List


Depending on what auto responder you use (We use AWeber-
www.aweber.com), the way to set up your list will be different.

For us, you simply click create new list in the top right hand corner, and follow
the steps for that list.

Once you follow all the steps to create the list, you will want to make sure
double opt in is turned OFF as follows:

Next, we want to hit Drop & Drop Email Builder.

From there, follow the simple steps to load your first follow up email. After
you load the first, follow the same steps to load the second.

However, this time around, you will be promoted to fill in the following field,
which should be set to “1 Day” for the remaining amount of emails you will be
sending.

And there you have it! Your auto responder emails can get loaded this way in
Aweber.

So now you have an overview of ways you can promote.

Summarizing:

 Check the landing page for your offer. Does it have text content, a
privacy policy, terms of service, and no exit pop? Sounds like something
you can just link today.
 Create your own landing page if you want to have full control over
building a compliant page and want to increase your conversions.
 Build a list using your own landing pages going to an opt in form instead
of to a sales page. (Link the sales page after they fill out the opt in form).
 Send directly to your site or blog if you have one.

If this makes sense, then you are ready to make a selection of the above 4
options. Get to work if you need to create a landing or squeeze page.

MODULE 6: GETTING STARTED


WITH BING

We now have an offer or web site we want to promote- in the fashion we want
it to get seen by the customer.

It’s time to get started with Bing.

This section will show you the best way to get started.

The first thing you will want to do is find a Bing coupon. Go to Google and type
in “Bing coupon” and you will be met with many options for coupons ranging
from $50 as high as $150.

Sign up with one of these so you can get some ad spend without having to pay
anything.

Make sure you set a payment method.

It’s important to maintain a good relationship with Bing, and these days,
getting your first ad approved can be the hardest. This is when they are
looking at you with full force since you’re new.

After we publish our first ad, you’ll want to contact their chat support to make
sure that the ad is acceptable. This will be a written verification that the ad is
compliant before running it, so if later they change their mind, you have
written documentation showing they said something else originally.

MODULE 7: KEYWORD RESEARCH

It’s time to start finding keywords for our offer.

There seems to be a million different ways in which people are doing keyword
research and different opinions of how many keywords you should have per
ad, and so on. I’m going to show you the way that’s working for me to not only
bring me incredibly cheap clicks but also return on investment.

I recommend having at minimum, 500 keywords per campaign. This is


because you can increase impressions and thus make sure you get a decent
amount of clicks for cheap prices.

You’ll be “uncovering” keywords that are cheap and simply work. So there are
two ways to get these keywords and I recommend you do both. Ideally you
want to have at least 500 keywords per campaign between the two.

The two ways in which I get keywords involve the Google keyword planner.

Go too www.adwords.google.com

The first way works best if you have an offer sales page or CPA one page
submit page that you want to get keywords for.

Once you have it, simply head into the keyword planner.

Now you have your first set of keywords! Simply copy the keywords here:

Then paste them into notepad or any word editor you have. Set them aside for
now.

The next step is to get the rest of our keywords. The way to do this is to come
up with phrases someone would be typing in google, to come up with relevant
ideas.

You do this by simply looking at the offer landing pages.

For example, for a lose weight offer, you could type in:

 Lose weight
 Burn fat
 Get healthier

This will come up with a ton of keywords for your campaign.

From here, gather up all the keywords into your notepad with the keywords
you gathered and hold onto them.

We will be using them very soon 

MODULE 8: AD COPY RESEARCH

Now that we have our keywords, it’s time to come up with the ad text that will
be displayed when one of your keyword bids wins.

To do this, we will be simply reverse engineering existing ads, as this is the


easiest way to do it.

I’ll also show you a site you can use to get additional ideas.

Let’s say the product you want to promote is a survey product.

We will gather ideas the same way first, from two different sites… Google and
Bing.

So head to www.google.com.

Type in “make money with surveys” into the search bar. You’ll likely be met
with something like this:

See the ads on the page? Bingo.

Using your notepad or spreadsheet, make note of the top ads that you would
most likely click on. Copy these down.

Next, had to www.bing.com and type in the same keyword, “make money with
surveys”.

You will see more ads. Take a few of the ones you like best again. Collect them
into the same place you kept the others.

Now, we have more than enough information to craft the ads we can run!

However, there’s one more site that’s worth giving a try. There’s a free and a
paid version, I just use the free version.

You can type in a keyword or a landing page link. Head to www.ispionage.com


and type in the search bar:

You will likely get results like this.

It’s another solid data point for our ad copy. Take a few more ads you really
like and log them with the rest.

We have now successfully completed ad copy research! This is an excellent


starting point for the ads we will display on our first campaign.

The next section will show how to put all the research we’ve been doing into
action.

MODULE 9: SETTING UP YOUR


FIRST CAMPAIGN

We now have everything we need to set up our first campaign;

 A page to send the ad clickers to


 Keywords for us to target
 Ad copy for us to use

It’s time to create our campaign.

The first step is to get to the first screen.

From here, you will want your settings to be exactly as shown in the following
image:

Next, you will see that ad copy is being requested:

One thing to note is that for the two URL’s, the display URL and destination
URL, the links must be the same base domain.

For example, the following is acceptable:

Display URL: www.example.com

To accomplish this, simply download “Pretty Link Lite” inside wordpress:

Now, simply paste in the full link into the destination URL, and the base link
into the display URL.

Now, you just need to create some ad copy for your first ad.

Pull up the ad research we did in the previous section. Using one of the ads as
a guideline, slightly alter the ad to make it your own but pretty similar to one
of the ones we gathered.

The next step is to paste in all the keywords:

Once they are all accepted, they will appear in the box to the right.

Next click submit.

The final steps to create the campaign are shown.

Simply fill them out as follows:

Now, click submit and your campaign is live!

Don’t go away though, we still have a few more things we need to do.

Immediately after the campaign goes live, we will want to change our
keyword bids.

Lower your keyword bid for all keywords to .10-.15. You can start at one or
the other and adjust based on your results.

The last thing we will need to do is add some more ad copy.

You can paste in 2-3 more ideas from your list, then I recommend adding 1-2
as shown below:

The dynamic text lets you make part of your ad the exact same as the keyword
someone was searching for. This makes people say, “wow, this is exactly what
I was looking for” and can greatly increase ad click rate.

Now, once you have a minimum of 4 and a maximum if 7 ads following what I
listed above, your campaign is ready!

Sit and wait 24 hours to see how it’s going.

If you’re not getting any results (at the very least, a number other than zero
under impressions), you’ll need to get in touch with Bing support, something
went wrong.

Otherwise, head to the next section. It’s time to check into our results!

MODULE 10: CAMPAIGN RESULTS


ANALYSIS

So now your first ad has been running for around 24-48 hours.

If for some reason you’re not seeing any stats on your ads after this amount of
time, you will need to contact chat support, something is wrong with the ad.

Otherwise, we should now have a good amount of impressions, and hopefully


a good amount of clicks!

This is how we will measure it.

The first number to look at is impressions.

These are how many times your ads were displayed.

The next number to look at is your total clicks, followed by your CTR (click
through rate)

The click through rate is what percent of people clicked divided by the total
number of times the ad was displayed.

For example, if the ad was shown 100 times and 2 people clicked it, that’s a
2% CTR.

Anything above a 1% CTR is usually good. Above 5% is phenomenal.

Keep in mind, some campaigns will get a ton of impressions and others will
get not so many. If you’re only getting 50 clicks a day, even around a 5% click
rate is only 2 or 3 clicks. So that’s why we use as many keywords as possible.

Depending on the results you get, there will be certain ways to move forward.
I’ll go over some outcomes and how to handle each scenario.

Scenario 1: Low CTR under 1%

If you are getting high impressions but a low click rate (under 1%), it means
your ad copy is not enticing enough for people to click it. If you’re getting 500
to even thousands of impressions, then the keywords are hitting.

Start by changing out the ad copy. Do some more research, or grab some of the
others from the log you created. Try to make them more closely related to the
keywords if you can, but don’t overthink it.

Change the ads and re-run for another 24-48 hours.

Scenario 2: Low Impressions

If your ad has low impressions, this means the keywords you have are highly
competitive among a couple of other potential issues. However, what I would
do in this scenario is add more keywords.

Follow the steps in the keyword research section to get more keywords. Aim
for as high as 1500. Also, up your bid to .15 if you have it at .10

This should increase your impressions so at least this part of the equation is
covered.

Once you have a solid impression count and click rate, you have this side of
the equation down and know how to improve it when necessary. (Meaning
you now can get steady clicks).

Now comes the fun part: getting a return on investment (profits).

Scenario 3: Good Impressions and CTR, negative ROI

Now you’ve got steady clicks coming in for a good price. Congratulations!

But you’re not seeing very many sales.

There’s three things that need to be tied closely together:

Keywords need to be closely tied to ad copy. Then, the ad copy needs to be


closely tied to the offer.

To explain what I mean, people searching for “lose weight” aren’t going to
click on a golf ad.

By the same principles, people clicking on a golf ad aren’t going to be happy


when a lose weight offer pops up.

Analyze the offer you’re promoting. If you believe your keywords, ad copy and
offer are all closely related, then here’s what to do.

1) If you’re not using a landing page, add one in.


2) Try a couple of different landing page formats if the first didn’t work
well either
3) Once you’ve exercised options 1 and 2, it’s time to give up and move to a
new offer.

For free trial offers (approximately $1.50 to $4.00 payout), you should know
after 5 dollars ad spend that it’s not converting and to try the steps above. (5
dollars per step).

For clickbank offers where the customer is paying a decent amount of money
($20-$100), wait until you’ve spent about one third of the cost of the product
before trying the steps above, or as high as your budget can go.

Once you’ve tried everything above, it’s time to try a new offer. You’ve tried
many different times to get results and it just isn’t working out.

Rather than waste our efforts, we should move to a new campaign that could
very likely be much easier to convert.

Once we have that winning ad, it’s time to work in some ad optimization
which I’ll explain in the next section 

MODULE 11: AD OPTIMIZATION

Well – congratulations!

You now know how to set up Bing ads and get super cheap, targeted clicks,
and find a winning campaign!

This section will be short… it will show you how to optimize your campaign.

The ways to do this are as follows:

 Optimize keywords based on results


 Optimize ads based on results

For keywords, you can see how each individual keyword is performing.

Take a look at this example:

This keyword is performing incredibly well for me. 6.35% CTR, 15 cents per
click spend. I increased the bid to .22, since I now know this is a hot keyword
and my return on investment merited the increase.

If you get a bad keyword, i.e. low CTR (under 0.25%), shut it off and focus on
the ones that turn out to convert well. This is part of the optimization.

And now for the ads:

Notice in the image how some ads are performing much better than others.

(However anything above 1% is pretty good, I’ve got as high as 5.4%)

You will want to shut off the bad performing ads. You can either add more to
replace them and test those, or if you’ve got a winning formula, just keep on
the ad with the highest CTR.
