VIETNAMESE STANDARD 6772:2000

WATER QUALITY – DOMESTIC WASTEWATER STANDARDS -


PERMISSIBLE POLLUTION LIMITS

1. Scope of Application

This Standard is applicable to waste water discharged from servicing units,


communal units and tenement houses as listed in Table 2 hereof, (hereinafter
referred to as domestic waste water) to certain specified water areas.

This Standard is applicable only for domestic wastewater in such area without
concentrated wastewater collection and treatment system.

This Standard shall not be applied for industrial wastewater stipulated in TCVN
5945-1995.

2. Permissible Pollution Limits

2.1 Parameters and concentration of pollutants in domestic wastewater discharged


to specified water areas, shall not exceed the limits given in
Table 1.

2.2 The limits given in Table 1 are determined following methods of analysis
stipulated in relevant ruling standards.

2.3 Upon each type, scale and area of each servicing units, communal service
units and tenement houses, limits of pollutant components in domestic waste
water are applied in details as per Table 2 below.
