Dear Reader,

Welcome to my Multigenre research project! Feel free to navigate the website in any way
you like! My project is about the Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and the
impact it made on United States citizens. I selected it because when I was researching for a
possible topic, I came across an article about the Russian meddling in the election and thought it
was very intriguing and thought-provoking so I decided to research more about it. On my
website, the first genre is prose, so you can get a little background information in an informal
and fun way. The second genre is non-fiction where my research paper lies and there you can
learn about Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Finally, my last genre is media
where my visual element lies so readers can get a better understanding of my topic. My favorite
genre to write was non-fiction because I feel that is easy to write about facts and I also learn
more about my topic as I write which ultimately strengthens my understanding of the Russian
meddling. I am most proud of my research paper because I feel that I have researched and
written about the topic thoroughly.

My overall experience completing this project was fine and informational. I think that
making my visual element was the hardest part because I did not know what to portray with my
picture or how to draw it. I did not enjoy the visual element because it took me a very long time
to think about and execute because there was a lot of coloring involved. My favorite part of the
project was putting everything together on the website because I liked designing it and making
the website my own. I do not think that I would change anything to this project because it was an
educational project overall.

I think that this project was a lot more enjoyable than other research projects that I have
done in the past. In the past, there was only the research paper to complete, whereas in this
project we had to make multiple pieces of writing and artwork that connected to our paper. I do
think that I would have preferred to write a traditional research paper because I feel like I need
more practice writing a traditional research paper and focus on that instead of focusing on all the
other elements in this project I did like this project and I do think that this is a project worth
repeating.
