Mid Brain Activation Workshop Training Guide(Children)

Important Notes:

 Mid Brain Activation Dongle is a Single User Licence.


 Please install the dongle in the Laptop or P.C. which you will be using while conducting the
workshop.
 There should be an Internet Connection when you want to install a dongle.(The internet
connection is required only for the first time installation. Without internet connection you
cannot install the dongle).
 Practice Brain Gym, Eye Ball Gym and Blind Fold Exercises before taking a workshop.
 Speakers quality should be good .You can use Bose, Yamaha, Sony or any compatible
speakers.
 Before taking a professional workshop, conduct a workshop of 5 to 8 familiar kids for
practice.

Mid Brain Activation Workshop Sequence to be followed

Sr. No Time Activity


Instructions before  A child must have a breakfast.
starting a workshop  Let a child go to pee before starting a session.
Instructions for Brain  A trainer should do the Brain Gym Exercise with children
Gym as directed in the video.
Step 1 9am – 9:45am Prayer and Brain Gym (Session I)
Instruction after  Take a break and Relax for 5 to 10 minutes.
Brain Gym Exercise
Instructions for  Let the children know why Good Values and Goals are
Moral Values and important in life.
Goals  Ask some questions like what they want to be in future.
 Encourage the children that they can see their eyes
closed.
 Children should answer your questions enthusiastically.
e.g. If you ask them “Who wants to read with their eyes
closed?”
Children should answer loudly.... Yes I want to.
Step 2 9:45 am – 10:00 am Moral Values and Goals of Life Part I
Instructions for  While taking fun time session, select the simple or difficult
Fun Time spot the difference picture according to child’s age and
ask him/her to find the difference.
 Ask them what he/she can see in Illusions.
 Play Fun Video for mental relaxation.
Step 3 10:00am – 10:30am Fun, Illusions and Videos for mental relaxation
Instructions for  Smile, Laugh and enjoy the dance exercise for 30 minutes.
Dance Exercise  You can play any dance song.
 A trainer should dance enthusiastically with the children
so that children can follow and enjoy the dance.
 First do Dance Exercise and then Eye Ball Gym.

 Take a break and Relax for 5 minutes.
Instructions for Eye  Do not wear eye glasses / spectacles while doing eye gym.
Ball Gym  Do (1 to 4) exercise 6 times
 5th and 6th exercise only 1 time
 7th exercise 2 times
 Close your eyes on 8th exercise and rub your palms and
give that heat of the palms to the eyes.
 Do not move your head, just your eyes.
 While showing Arrows slide, tell children to look
according to arrows direction. Play the music at
background.
e.g. Up- Down (6 times) , Right corner Up - Down (6 times)
 Observe children’s eyes.
 Pay attention to the object.
 After Eye Ball Gym, you can give children any energy drink
like Lemon Juice, Natural Fruit Juices, Soups etc.
Step 4 10:30am – 11:10am Dance and Eyeball Gym
Instruction for  Cover the windows and doors with dark curtains.
Meditation  Turn off all the lights, room should be completely dark.
 While doing meditation there should be pin drop silence.
 Play the video of Meditation.
 Sound of the video should be little bit bigger but should
feel southing and relaxing.
 Tell children to stare at the Candle’s Flame.
 Do not blink the eyes often.
 Focus and Concentrate towards music and stare at the
flame.
 Let the tears come from the eyes.
Step 5 11:10am – 11:20am Meditation
Instructions after  After meditation, let the children rub their palms 5 times
Meditation and give that energy and heat of the palms to the eyes.
 Let a child go to pee before starting music therapy so that
they can fall asleep and will not get disturb.
Instructions for  Take Breathing Exercises under proper guidance.
Breathing Exercise
Step 6 11:20am - 11:30am Breathing Exercises
Instructions for  Spread comfortable and smooth sheets and pillows on the
Music Therapy floor. Make your child relax on the sheet having both ears
open.
 Speakers Placement Position:
Speakers: Place the speakers side by side and maintain
some distance in between or at the corner of the room
and tilt the speakers slightly.
Be sure, sound quality of the speakers should be clear.
 Turn off all the lights, room should be completely dark.
 Don’t make any kind of disturbance within music therapy.
 There should be pin drop silence.
 Play the music in large volume.
 Children should not hear anything other than music.

 Children should feel asleep while listening to music.
Step 7 11:30am – 12:30pm Midbrain Music Therapy
Instructions after  Take a break of 5 to 10 minutes
Music Therapy  Let a child go to pee
 Have some water or juice.
Instructions for Blind  Blind Fold Folder is only for Trainer.
Fold  Practice Blind Fold Steps as directed in "Blindfold Steps"
Video before conducting a workshop.
 Sit in circle and tell the children to follow your steps.
 Let the children do the exercise 3 to 4 times with open
eyes for practice only for the first time in Session I.
 After practice, Repeat the same exercise 3 times with
closed eyes having Blind Fold applied on the eyes.(This
should be done in each session).
 Let the children identify their senses using objects.
 Play the background music
 Tie the blind fold on the eyes and encourage children to
identify colours of different objects like balls , rings etc
 Encourage children that they can identify colours.
Step 8 12:30pm – 1pm  Blind Fold First Exercise Part I
 Day 1 Session 1: Give colourful balls, rings to children and
let them identify colour using senses.
1pm – 2pm Lunch Break
Instruction for Moral Play any one Moral Values Video

Step 9 2pm – 2:30pm Moral Values and Goals of Life Part II
Instruction for Brain Copy the trainer as directed in the video.
Gym
Step 10 2:30 pm – 3:30pm Brain Gym
Instruction  Take a break of 5 to 10 minutes
 Let a child go to pee
Step 11 3:30pm - 4:00pm Dance and Eyeball Gym
Step 12 4:00pm - 4:10pm Meditation
Step 13 4:10pm - 4:20pm Breathing Exercises
Step 14 4:20pm – 5:00pm Midbrain Music Therapy
Instructions for Blind  Repeat the blind fold steps with UNO Cards.
Fold Session II  Encourage children that they can identify colours.
Step 15 5:00pm – 5:30pm  Blind Fold Second Exercise Part II
 Day 1 Session 2: Give Colourful UNO Cards, Balls, Rings
for colour identification
End the Session

Note: Repeat the above required steps on Second Day.

Take the following blind fold exercises on Day 2.

Day 2 Session 3: Give UNO Cards, Letter Cards, Words Cards for Number and Colour identification.

Day 2 Session 4: Give different types of Picture Cards (e.g. Animal s, Fruits, Vegetables etc. Pictures )
for identification.

Follow-ups:

After 2 days workshop, take the follow-ups for 3 months once or two times in a week as per your
convenience. For this you need to give a kit to every child for Home Practice including CD.

For follow-up you need to take

Brain Gym (10 minutes), Eye-Ball Gym(5 minutes), Dance or Mental Games(15 minutes),
Meditation(5 minutes), Breathing(10 minutes) and Blind Fold Practice(15 minutes).

Please Note: Those children who can practice daily (Brain Gym , Meditation, Breathing exercises)and
listen background music can get more benefits and can be qualified for Advance Course.

Note:

Give a CD (Brain Gym and Music) and a Kit (Balls, Rings, UNO Cards, Cube, Blind Fold etc. ) to each
child for home practice.

Children should practice daily for 15 to 20 minutes for 3 months regularly.

They can avoid to eat Non-Vegetarian Food , Fast Food or Cold Drinks at least for 21 Days for better
results.

What you need to tell to students for home work

1 Follow Brain Gym exercise daily 15 to 20 minutes.


2 Play the given music while doing any activity like Drawing, Playing In- House games etc
3 Practice normal day to day activities with blind folded everyday for 10 to 15 minutes.

 Guess a colour: The children are given small plastic Ball and asked to guess its colour.
 Guess a UNO card: The children are requested to guess a UNO card's colour, Number Etc.
 Reading a newspaper's headline: The text read is the one with large characters.
 Reading comic or text books.
 Colouring: The children colour a picture without overriding the boundary line.
 Walking with eyes closed: You may create obstacle using some plastic bottles and place it
on the floor, making a line. The children must walk through the bottles without hitting them
 Cycling while their eyes closed.

 Wherever necessary, you may conduct another test based on a child's hobby like
 Playing Cricket,
 Basketball,
 Table tennis,
 Carom board,
 Chess game,
 Rubik's cube,
 Karate and Much more
