Effective communication is about more than just exchanging information. It’s about
understanding the emotion and intentions behind the information. As well as being able to
convey a message, you need to also listen in a way that gains the full meaning of what’s being
said and makes the other person feel heard and understood. Your communicative strategy is
the heart of the conversation in your communication. It determines the flow of information
among two people. A poor communication strategy allows for information blockages, making
it hard for the receiver or listener to communicating the two-way process.

An effective communication strategy forges and maintains connections, allowing your ideas or
words to send toward its receiver or listener. The most basic dynamic in communication exists
between the message and the audience. If the sender of the message does not deliver the
message properly, the receiver won’t hear the message. Choosing the right choice of language
can be vital in communication for it is the main element in a conversation. If the receiver or
listener does not understand your language, all you are trying to say will be just no sense at all.
Also, be concise and clear to your context. A clear context can help the listener understand
your thoughts and what you're saying. The more complex the communication strategy, the
more likely information blockages will occur, making it hard to deliver and understand
messages.

Loudness and softness of the voice also become a factor in a communication strategy,
the volume depends on how big the audience is or how few is the listener. A too-soft voice on
a crowed can affect the delivery of the message, there is a tendency that some of your listeners
cannot understand or hear your message. To make sure that your listener or audience
understands your message, repeat your message as often as possible to make sure that they get
the correct idea and message you want to convey.

Look out for your body language as it is being observed of the listener. Body factors can also
affect the delivery of the message, from the facial expression to the movement of your body.
Our body can talk to and can convey a message, on a single movement of or eyebrows or hands,
the message can be delivered differently.

If the delivery of your message took too long, the movement of your body can help the
listener not to get bored or sleepy. Movement can help you to catch the attention of your
listeners. On a public speaking, most of the speakers move around the stage of the aisle to
awaken the audience and catch their attention. The longer the duration, the highest probability
that your listener can get bored or sleepy. In this way communication can be interrupted, your
listener cannot understand the message you are conveying to. Lastly, your relationship to the
listener can affect the communication too. Engaging communication can be more helpful to the
speaker in delivering his message.
