NAME OF ACTIVITY:
Christmas Sportsfest 2018
OBJECTIVES:
 To develop and enhance the capabilities of the youths towards sports;
 To instill in their minds the spirit of sportsmanship and promote camaraderie
among the players;
 To divert the youths from engaging into illegal activities like prohibited drugs, illegal
fraternity, alcoholism, and illegal gambling;

RATIONALE:

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Bahi, Alburquerque, Bohol is sponsoring Christmas

Sportsfest to be participated by the different youths in the Barangay

This is to enhance the capabilities of the youths in the field of sports and to
promote camaraderie and the spirit of sportsmanship among the youths.

This activity is in line with the mandates of the youth in R.A 10742 particularly in
Section 20 (c) for the sports development which is also given emphasis in R.A 7160.

IMPLEMENTING ORGANIZATIONS:

To be able to fulfill the said activity, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Bahi,

Alburquerque, Bohol will work for the realization of this purpose.

DATE AND VENUE OF THE ACTIVITY:

The Activity will be done on December 17-21 2018 at the Barangay Bahi,
Alburquerque, Bohol.

BENEFECIARIES OF THE ACTIVITY:

The beneficiaries of the activity will be all the Youths of the Barangay of Bahi,
Alburquerque, Bohol.

PERSONS INVOLVED:

Sangguniang Kabataan, Katipunan ng Kabataan Members, and Youths of the said

Barangay.
EXPECTED OUTPUT:

The youths of the Barangay would be able to enhance their capabilities towards
sports. They would also instill their minds the spirit of sportsmanship and they will promote
the camaraderie among the players. They would not engage into illegal activities like
prohibited drugs, illegal fraternity, alcoholism, and illegal gambling. The youths of the
Barangay would be physically and mentally fit.

BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS:

Sports Paraphernalia’s P40, 000.00

Tarpaulin and Supplies P2, 000.00

Trophies and Medals P5, 000.00

TOTAL: P47,000.00
The amount shall be charged from the Municipal Fund of the Local Government
Unit of Alburquerque, Bohol subject to liquidation and accounting rules and procedures.
