1. A Registered Medical Technologist released a crossmatched and blood typed blood unit for transfusion. The
RMT committed an error while performing the tests and the wrong blood type was only discovered when the
patient was about to be discharged from the hospital. The error had no effect on the blood recipient. The patient
filed a lawsuit to the Medical Technologist and after due process a penalty of suspension was imposed.
A. How are the persons who conduct the investigation arrived with the punishment of suspension?
