I wish my sincere gratitude to Mrs. Ame, for giving us this opportunity to do this

project, and providing us insightful knowledge whilst doing this.

I would like to express my gratitude to the school for including this subject

‘Entrepreneurship’, which has been a very interesting subject for my peers and me.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project is about a new business venture. It covers the core concepts that are

involved in the development and implementation of this new company.

This project guides the company attributes, boosting its early phases to penetrate

through market identification and segmenting it through different location, planning for

market positioning, effective pricing strategy, how to promote to clients through different

mediums and sources and most importantly, the environmental factors that are associated

with the early stages of business development and post variable factors that are major

challenges to the business.

The following are the objectives of the business:

Analysis of Competitors

Competitions is there for every type of business, it is inevitable. To have

knowledge in competitor’s business as one’s business is necessary to overcome

competition.

The major competitors of Rain’s Balls in Carmona are:

- Red Ribbon

- Goldilocks

- Mister Donut

- Dunkin Donut

- Tita’s Pasalubong

Though “Rain’s Balls” competition is rather high, the opportunity, is none of these

companies have a branch in Barangay Lantic Area.

Competitive Advantages Strategies are now playing a vital role in the world of

business. These are useful to contain or maintain a competitive edge. Rain’s Balls will
follow differentiation strategy, diversification strategy, marketing advantage strategy and

geographic strategy.

Differentiation Strategy

Providing high quality of foods because the business mission is “Customer health

is our GAIN”.

Marketing Advantages Strategy

Rain’s Ball is providing same but improve services for the time in the region.

Diversification Strategy

It implies that Rain’s Balls will expand by new services and high-quality food with

the passage intervals.

Geographic Expansion Strategy

Geographic expansion means to add new places and new disciplines. We started in

Barangay Lantic Area and the next target area was the Barangay Milagrosa, after 3-5 years

of operation in the business, the business aims to expand all over to Carmona.

Size of Business

Rain’s Balls will start as a partnership, it will then turn into a company after 3-5 years of

success operation.

The CEO owns 25% of shares in the business. The remaining four have equal shares

(18.75% of shares).

Profit and loss will be distributed based on the share percentage.

Background of Entrepreneurs

Each partner has been a student has taken the class of entrepreneurship in ALLSHS. All

the partners have through knowledge of accounting, marketing, and business ethics and

have work experience at least 1 year.


Production Plan

Area

The piece of land which required to organize the whole set up is about 25 square meters.

Color Scheme

Red Green, with led lights inside to create a comfortable feeling.

Objective of Marketing Manager

According to the Marketing Manager of Rain’s Balls, the marketing department has the

following objectives.

 This department main goal will be to make better brand image of the organization.

 To shows the position of the firm in the market.

 To show the uniqueness of the organization and give the firm a cut above the rest.

 This department will at all times be aware of the competition in the area and will

alert the firm when there is new business competition in the area or in the region.

 To get a satisfied customer feedback.

Rain’s Balls will be marketed to people on the basis of demographic, psychographic, and

geographic characteristic.

In the behavioral aspect, the market is segmented on quality, taste, and price. The following

Target Market

The Barangay Lantic Area is the target market of the business first, as the area have

different food preference and choices.

Market Positioning

The location of Rain’s Ball will be in near at the school of ALLSHS. According to the

survey, this area is the best area to start a small business for sweets and treats and this area

is also our target market.

Marketing Mix

It includes the 7 P’s of Marketing; these 7 P’s are necessary for the success of the

organization.

Price

 The price of all the products of Rain’s Balls are reasonable and are according to

market standard.
 The prices have been set rather low to attract more people from the area. Setting a

low price makes the promotion of the products much easier.

 However, the rise of demand of the resources, the prices slowly increase to provide

the growth of the organization.

Places

 The target place is Barangay Lantinc area, to attract more customers through cheaper

prices.

 Such location has many people in the area.

To maintain a good brand image, Rain’s Balls will have a daily customer service

department, which will note each and every request of the customers and make change if

necessary.

The hierarchy of Rain’s Balls have been shown in the hierarchy chart. The following are

departments of the organization:

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

He will overlook the functioning of all departments and ensure there is efficiency in the

human resources.

Marketing Manager

Marketing is a major aspect in every organization. The marketing should ensure the

products are being promoted in the right place and right time.

Finance Department

This department will perform the following tasks:

Operational Department

This department will be needed by the operations manager, who will oversee the

following operations:

This department will ensure the social well-being of the workforce and will make sure they

are motivated to perform their best. The workers who perform well will be rewarded

accordingly.
