B-Spec at the 2019 SCCA RUNOFFS®

Drive for 30 in 19 Project Details

Class cheerleader David Daughtery has been a long-time supporter of the class. For 2019 he
started the year with the goal of getting 25 cars to the VIR Runoffs. Frank Schwartz came onboard
later in an unofficial capacity to support the marketing efforts. If 25 was a good number, it was
decided 30 would be even better. SO a plan was hatched called Drive for 30in19. A few new ideas
were put in place and a few others were co-opted with a resulting 27 cars coming to Virginia in
October. The program has been expanded to include 40 in ‘20 for Road America and 51 in ’21 for
Indy. The following booklet and media guide is a culmination of the efforts of many people and
the details will be presented at the SCCA National Convention in January.
