years old, I'm from Barranquilla, I'm a bakery technician, I'm currently

in the fifth semester of Food Engineering and in my free time I

dedicate it to my studies and my family.

I share every weekend with my children and wife in the park or pool.

Rewrite the following passage in the past-tense of the underlined verbs. Be aware of irregular
verbs and write them correctly in the past tense

DearMum,

John and I had having a wonderful time here in Ireland. Every day we got up early and went for a
long walk in the country. When we got back we usually had a very big Irish breakfast which
normally consisted of two eggs, three slices of bacon, toast and jam. We usually ordered a cup of
coffee after breakfast: Colombian coffee, of course.

After breakfast we sometimes went for a swim in the river. We often met children who liked to
swim there. They were very nice. At night we nearly always drank a few pints of Guinness in the
pubs bar before going to bed. We always slept well after that, I can assure you.

Imagine you have to describe a kind of weather to someone who has never experienced it before
for example, a snowstorm or the sound of a hurricane or strong wind. Start with phrases such as
the following: It looks like . . . It sounds like . . . It makes you think of . . . It makes you feel .

Write a paragraph trying to "paint a picture" with words, so the person reading your description
could visualize the kind of weather you are describing. Use the adjectives you learned in the
vocabulary section of this week. As a conclusion, include a couple of recommendations about
what people should do in this kind of weather (remember to use the subjunctive).

How are you, brother?
It seems like the weather is perfect and even more so if this will be your first time to experience
it.
Let's go there, this you see and can touch is the snow, is very white and similar to what you see in
our refrigerator (freezer) when we haven't cleaned it for some time. There is snow because we are
in winter but this time everything is too snowy which makes there are strong breezes and we can
say that it would be a winter with breeze or a winter full of blizzards. But not everything is so
good in this climate because there are too many accidents on the road, for example, vehicles
skating on the road, drivers do not have much visibility on the road, but it can be solved this way:
1- Reducing speed
2- Apply salt to the road
3- Use special tyres
3- Develope Grammatical topics: Each student will select ONE topic to develop:
a. Imperatives
b. Modal verbs
c. Simple past tense.
d. Gerunds after prepositions
e. Superlatives.
