Knowing Sister

Maulin : Good morning pepole ! Today we meet again at the same time as
usual. Welcome back in our favorite show ! Here were are
“Knowing Sister”. Everyday we always talk about all of hot news
in Indonesia. In particular about celebrities, singers, and public
figures. But today we will talk about something different. Do you
curious with the topic ? The topic is “indonesia Crying”. We will
discuss soscial problems in Indonesia. But, at first let me introduce
my self. I am Maulin Ainur Kharisma and she is my co-host
(continue with Elvira)

Elvira : Elvira Arianti. Nowadays, there’s a lot of social problem in

Indonesia in terms of life, we always find a lot of problem. Even in
school, office, road and etc. Now we will talk about Indonesian’s
social problem with our guests to get their opinion from different
point of view. Okay let’s skip the chit-chat and move to the point
where I introduce you the guests. Please welcome Mr.Akbar as a
social observer, Mrs.Ira and Mr.Ipan as a citizens, and the last
Mr.Ferdi as a police.

Maulin : Good morning every body !

Guests : Good morning, Maulin.

Maulin : Thank you for your coming in this show, because I know everyone
of you has hectic schedule. Okay, why we invite you in this show?
Because we want to know your opinion about social problem in
Indonesia from different point of view. I want to know the opinioon
from social observer, citizens, and police. Before, we watch the
videos, my co-host will ask some questions to all the guests in here.
Elvira : Calm down, don’t be panic. It’s just a simple question. Unlike
mathematic question that you have to think hard to know the
answer. (every one laughing). First, I want to ask Mr. Akbar. What
do you think about social problem in Indonesia ?

Akbar : In my opinion, most of social problem in Indonesia come from

millenial generation, Millenial generation is someone that have
birth years around 1981-2001. Most of this generation don’t know
how to respect each other, they don’t know how to control their
ego, and last, they only care about themselves. This problem will
break unity of Indonesia, they will destroy what the nation heroes
have built in the past. This Millenial generation have to obey what
the rules build for.

Maulin : Wow that’s good answer, thank you. And then, for Ipan and Ira as
citizens. Have you ever found social problem in your region ?

Ipan : In my region, there are many social problems occur, for example is
social inequality, moral depravity, juvenile deliquency. That social
problem must be resolved immediately because if it is not resolved
soon the problem will get bigger and more difficult to
overcome.one problem that i found in my region is a boy or a
student i don’t exactly know who is he but, he was shouting to his
mom loudly.

Maulin : And then, how about you Mrs.Ira?

Ira : There are many social problems in my area. Like education

problem, unemployment, poversy criminal acts, juvenive
deliquency problem, and environmental problems. So, one example
is the problem of poverty an unemployment, So the problem of
poverty an unemployment is also related to the low level of
education thy can get, so that, They can’t get their decent jobs.
Which results in the emergence of poverty.

Elvira : That’s pity. The last question, Mr.Ferdi, How about the number of
social problems in Indonesia?

Ferdi : So there are a lot of social problem of crime, poverty, social

inequality, and environmental hygiene problems. An example of a
social problem that i have dealt withas a police officer is the
problem of crime. Crime is not only related to the act of theft that is
rampant in our country. One of the most dangerous criminal
 problems is drug use. Where the target of drug abuse is the younger
generation . even though we know that the younger generation is
the next generation of nation. If the younger generation is damaged
automatically it will damage our country too. Therfore, we from the
police always take firm action againts perpetrators of drug abuse
both as dealers and users

Elvira : Ohh, I see, these social problem surely make manner crisis.

Maulin : That’s all the questions. And now let’s start to play the first video.
It is about someone get punishment because he doesn’t obey the
rule to ride motorcycle. But , instead of feeling guilty. He damaged
his motorcycle. Let’s check the video! (whatch the video)

Maulin : That’s it the video and its so crazy. Now i want to know your
opinion about that. Let’s start from Mr. Akbar !

Akbar : From that video, i think that guy do not accept what the police has
done to him, it was one thing that i have said before, he need to
obey the rules, he need to lose his ego, from that vidio i think he
cannot control his ego. If most of teenagers have the same
personality as the guy from that vidio, the rules will not be the
rules.

Maulin : And you Mrs Ira?

Ira : The video clearly shows that he was angry because he was ticketed
by the police. The police said that violated traffic. Traffic violations
by of not carrying a SIM, STNK, and not using a helmet. Here it is
clear that the motorbike driver has violated but he doesn’t want to
be ticketed. This reflectets the low level of Indonesian people’s
awareness for discipline in traffic. At the beginning of the video, it
appears that the body side of the motorcycle has been detached
from the man that waearing white shirt not enough to slam the
motorcycle, the body of the motorbike was damage by being forced
of. While police officers were soon, not affected. The police still
call him. I really appreciate the police that fermly embodies order
in the life of the nation and state. All of them to achieve a more
advanced iIndonesia. So that, Indonesia gonna be the best country
in the world.

Maulin : What do you think about this video Ipan?

Ipan : As a student we have to obey to the rules, we can see in the video,
the man does not use a helmet, and he don’t bring SIM, and STNK.
he does not accept to be ticketed. and he acts to destroy the
motorcycle. He does it because he thinks he's right. But in fact he's
wrong. he must control his emotions and accept punishment
because he violates the rules

Maulin : Okay, Ipan. The last is Mr. Ferdi !

Ferdi: So, the events of refinement happened on Tangerang Selatan, near

of modern BSD Market, Serpong. Iam part of law enforcement as a
police, want to explain if that the person in the video ( Adi Saputra)
don’t accept when we will ticket him. He was ticketed by Bripka
Oky for committing a traffic violation because he doesn’t use a
helmet, unable to show the SIMand STNK of the motorcyclewas
carrying. Even when he was to be ticketed, he tried to avoid the
officers. But when he was ticketedd, he went on rampage and
damaged his motorcycle. He stripped down and tried to destroy his
own motorcycle. So we from the police decided that he violated the
law number 22 tahun 2009 about ( Lalu lintas dan angkutan jalan)

Elvira : Okay the second videos. This video is about student that bullying
the teacher. That’s too mean, right? The student bullied the teacher,
because the teacher remined him if we are prohibited from smoking
in school. So let’s play the video!

Elvira : Ouh . That immoral action. What is your opinion about the second
video, Mr.Akbar, what do you think after wtach this video?

Akbar : Oh man, it was terrible, this student doesnt have manners, what
have his done to his teacher was the worse problem that this
generation have. If this kind of problem keep appear in any kind of
situation, I believe manners will gone from every single live of
teenagers.

Elvira : As a nitizen what do you think about this video, Mrs. Ira ?

Ira : The video clearly shows that the student dared to fight his teacher.
And he was impolite smoking in front of the teacher. This video
shows that there are still young people who still don’t understand
how to respect ateacher. We know that teachers are our parents too.
Moral and ethical education in the younger generation has not been
implemented properly. This student should be given a warning and
 punishment by bringing his parent to school. So that, we will not
repeat the disgrateful act. Indonesia’s young generayion is the only
hope to change Indonesia to be better. To change Indonesia, a good
attitude intellegence needed. Therefore, let’s change our
personality to be better in order to realife that Indonesia can be the
best country in the world.

Elvira : Okay, next Mr.Ipan.

Ipan : That's very bad. students do not respect their teacher. he smoked in
front of his teacher. and the student also cursed his teacher. that's
very bad. as students we must respect teachers and respect them.
students must be punished. punishments that can deter him and do
not repeat the action again. the school needs to invite his parents to
come to school.

Elvira : And the last, how about you Mr.Ferdi ?

Ferdi : So the video shows that a student bravely stragles his teacher,
smokes in the classroom and sits on a table. He doesnt respect his
teacher. As a police, this event causes with suspects who are
underage are indeed out in a different procces than adults.
According to him, it was rejected by Republic of Indonesia Law
number 11 of 2012 concerning the juvenile justice system(
diversion). Diversion is a solution by bringing both parties who are
in troble. In the addition We also present parents from underage
children. This ways to solve problems peacefully.

Maulin : Ohh, okay viewers. We arrived at the end of the event. Thank you
Mr.Akbar, Mrs.Ira, Mr.Ipan and Mr.Ferdi for the free time given to
share opinion about social problem in Indonesia.

Elvira : There are so many lessons that we get today. Indonesia’s social
problem are not only duties and responsbilities of government
institutions but are major tasks. As social beings and Indonesian
citizens, we mjst help each other, sustain, work together. Don’t be
easily provoked by people who are not responsible, wisely to hoax
news, maintain an attitude to not easily defame someone but
respect each other’s opinions.

Together : Hopefully what we get today is very useful and a new inspiration
