Instructions on the Reception of Communion / Communion Procession:
Because Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of the reality
of the oneness of faith, life, and worship, members of those churches with whom we
are not yet fully united are not eligible to receive Holy Communion, but may come
forward for a blessing. If you are not a practicing Catholic but would like to receive
a blessing, please come forward with the Communion Procession, and cross your
arms as you approach the Priest (or Eucharistic Minister).
