Design

The effectiveness of qualitative research is heavily based on the skills and abilities of researchers, while
the outcomes may not be perceived as reliable, because they mostly come from researcher’s personal
judgements also risky for his/her results of qualitative research to perceived case study as reflecting the
opinions a wider population of teenager engage on reading wattpad.

Instrument

The researchers use is interview some teenager engage on reading wattpad in Muntinlupa
National Highschool (main) senior high students in GAS strand, the researchers use to interview some
respondent in one on one interview to understand the reason of teenager engage on reading wattpad.

Data collection Procedure

For the purpose of this research in depth interview were used. In depth interview are personal
semi-structure, whose aim is to identify participants emotion, feelings and opinion regarding a particular
research subject. The main advantage of personal interview is that they involve personal and direct
contact between interviewers and interviewees. As far as data collection tools were concern the
structured questionnaire, which was used as an interview pride for the researchers to guide the
interview forwards the satisfaction of research objectives. But additional questions were made
encountered during the interview
Discussion

SOP I

Teenagers gave their idea and though about how they are engaged to wattpad and what their
comment to it. They say wattpad gave happiness to them because they got excited every chapter they
read.

SOP II

In SOP II the teenager said that every story they’ve read they relate their self to the situation
where the character are. And when they get curious about the story they won’t stop reading until fulfill
their curiousity and also they can get moral lessons to every story and gave them peace of mind while
reading.

SOP III

Most of the teenagers are prefer application because it’s free and less hassle reading. And some
of them are books because if there was cut of application they can read on book because will by it on
any bookstore. They spend their freetime to read some of them less than 5 hours.
Conclusion

The results showed in the data some of them said wattpad can make them happy help to stress
reduction in our research no matter how much you stress you have at work, in your reading , personal
relationships, or countless other issue faced in daily life, it all just slips away when you lose yourself in a
great story. A well-written novel can transport you to other realms, while an engaging article will
distract you and keep you in the present moment letting tensions drain away developed language skills.
Some of the teenager reading wattpad that they can get a moral lesson or learn something that you
read on wattpad stories they’ve read

Recommendation

To the future researchers are encouraged to conduct similar studies by other variables like
“Teenager engagement on reading wattpad” and this research may help them.

To the parents, tthis may help them to understand the reason of their daughter engage on
reading wattpad

To the teacher’s to understand the reason some of the teenager are engage on reading wattpad
some of the moral lesson of the story they’ve
