REFLECTION PAPER

Intel helps grow STEM education. Researchers from the MNCHS STEM Strand shared
their most intriguing inventions. Excellent and intelligent STEM Students have demonstrated their
ability to develop devices that can help solve problems and issues in different aspects. In order for
us to have some insights and to gain wisdom about what we wanted to know and learn about, we
attended the program and listen to every researcher as they present their works in a specific
category.

Talented students demonstrated their skill in producing their invented devices. Based on
what we have seen and heard, we have witnessed the process of presenting the done research study
and the flow of its explanation to the respective judges. Their inventions can help solve problems
in our city as well as in our country. Here we discovered the diverse personalities of researchers
for what they do. They are really decisive, persistent, and we all saw that they were happy with
what they have done. We can say that this is a good sign of being good students who are
contributing to the advancement of order in our world.

This served as an inspiration for us, students, who are still in the process of becoming
researchers. Our findings served us our guide on how we can demonstrate the emerging role of
new researchers.

As new researchers, we gained new insight into what it means to be a STEM Student. We
have learnt to appreciate the fact that being considered as researchers is a great challenge yet a
wonderful instrument to better help the growth of our world. As we engage with the other
researchers’ point of view, we came up with the idea that us, the next batch of researchers should
be as good as them and should be more productive as well.

We have also learnt that STEM Strand is not just for academics. Just because we are STEM
Students does not mean that we only focus on things that will give us lot of learnings. The truth is,
we are also considered as “makers”, and the things that we make will also give learnings to others.
We plan, we perform, and we provide. We are part of those Samaritans who only want the best for
our society. We come up to different ideas that will help. What will be the benefit? It is to live in
an amazing world with smart minds and a great act of willingness.
