PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION: THE BASICS

All large companies need to transport their goods choosing the right mode of
transport means achieving a balance between time and budget constraints. Balance
the balance and you will face a set of deeply impressed clients. When choosing a
means of transport, the budget and the speed of transport must be taken into
account, taking into account whether they are perishable products or dangers to
recognize the type of cargo and their respective specifications when shipping, take
into account the goods in transit or maritime insurance, and having agreed the terms
with your supplier or customer to avoid confusion, the charges are properly
packaged and labeled to reduce the risk of product loss.

TRANSPORTATION MODES

Choosing the right mode of transport for your products depends on the size and

Urgency of your shipment we find the main ones that govern and transport:

ROAD

Road transport is economical, convenient and one of the most flexible modes of
transport must take into account height, weight and length restrictions if you transport
your products outside the UK and the Republic of Ireland, you will need to familiarize
yourself with the CMR note, which applies to each international road transport
contract.

RAIL

Rail transport is fast, ecological and not (always) subject to congestion or delays.
However, it is inflexible and can be very expensive.

Shipment of cargo by train really only becomes economically viable 'with loads of
300 tons or more per train, over distances of more than 150 miles
AIR

It is undoubtedly the fastest way to transport your products long distances, but it is
expensive and not very ecological air transport is transported by cargo airlines only,
as well as by regular passengers

AIRCRAFT.

As with excess luggage on passenger airlines, air freight is usually charged per
kilogram

SEA

Shipping your products by sea is relatively cheap, particularly if you are sending
large volumes. However, it is slow and quite inflexible: there are relatively few ports
and you will probably need to make arrangements to move your products inland.

VEHICLE

Shipping Types:

• Line ships operate on fixed routes with fixed schedules

• Vagrant ships operate entirely according to the demand of the person who rents
them courier

• Emails are fast, reliable and very secure, but they can be expensive.

• Due to the nature of courier vehicles, they generally only deliver goods at a certain
weight.

• Emails are usually profitable over short distances.
