LESSON TOPIC: Time Frames

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE & LINKS TO VELS strands and domains

Students working towards VELS Level 5 will generate and develop ideas
that explore particular concepts, techniques and issues when making arts
works. They will begin to learn to seek innovative alternatives and use
their imagination to generate possibilities as well as observe and reflect on
their explorations to develop, discuss, express and support opinions about
their own and others’ use of arts elements.

Once the lesson has concluded, students will have reflected on their work
from the previous lesson and their news report project. They will also have
been introduced to the idea of time frames and begin to use them to
create short improvisations.
