Acne caused by the pH of cosmetics.

Introduction

Many people in the word have problems whith acne caused by the pH of cosmetics.
The pH of cosmetics should not alter the pH of the skin, So scientists everywhere
have to think about how to solve the problem.

Very low (very acidic) or very high pH products damages the skin. It is to be
understood then that when the pH value is located above or below the allowed
range, a dysfunction of the skin defense system that leads to acne, irritation after
shaving or infections occurs.

Development

However, there are a number of steps that can be taken to avoid acne caused by
the pH of cosmetics. The most obvious solution is use products that have a pH
between 4.5 and 6 so that the skin can adjust quickly after each application.
However, the problem with these kind of solution is some products do not indicate
their pH.

Other, more creative solution to the acne caused by pH of cosmetics is wash your
face twice a day, oncee at night and one during your morning routine. When you do
wash it gently and with warm water. However, the problems with his kind of solution
is many times we don`t take the time to take care of our face and we don`t wash
our face.

A more eficient solution is remove all makeup residue before going to bed. Avoid
going to sleep with makeup if you wear makeup, have a habit of talking it off before
going to bed. However, the problem with this kind of solution is manynake up
removers do not completely remove makeup.

Overall, although there are a number of good ways to tacklen this problem, some of
these also have a pH between 4.5 an 6 is probably the best solution as this solves
the acne caused by pH of cosmetics.
