EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

We would like to propose a unique technology driven solution which is both economically and practically applicable in
dealing with plastic wastes

 Problem Statement- With around 320 million tons of plastics being produced every year and only 10% of plastics are
being either re-used or recycled. Remaining are either being dumped in oceans, sea or directly to environment. We
propose a technology driven solution which will transform the plastic back into its molecular state and the entire
process is fueled from processed residual plastic gases with opportunity to utilize renewable heat and further recycle
plastic derived gases .No water used and no noxious emissions.

 Core Challenges Involved:-

1)Segregating the Waste based on the packaging type

2)Collection treating those waste with proper recycling methods

3)Alternatives are not economically viable and hence sustainable risk management strategy need to be
implemented.

4) Down cycling in the quality of recycled product.

 Solutions Proposed

1) An app with the technology that helps business across the plastic economy to connect, share
information and create new solutions to plastic waste using machine learning to identify packaging
types and advise consumers on the correct recycling process based on their location.

2) A solution to produce water-soluble bioplastic out of casein, a milk protein that is unsuitable for human
consumption and often goes to waste. This can replace PVA film packaging, notably used for wrapping
detergent. Its compatibility with current industrial chains, easy dissolution in both hot and cold water with no
residues, printability, and gas blocking properties meet the needs for industry and consumers. In stark contrast
to PVA, it is fully biodegradable and non-toxic.

3) A solution to regenerate post-consumer plastics by breaking down plastics into their basic constituents, used to
make new plastic resins identical to virgin plastics and restore their full value.

4) Reducing the residual household waste into many of its basic natural components. At an almost molecular level,
these natural components reconstitute themselves and bind together to form a new homogeneous composite
with thermoplastic properties. These upcycled composites that can be recycled.
