JILLIAN M. OBALDE
No. 415 Hero St., Brgy. Morning Star
Quezon City
Metro Manila
Dear Madame,
In the Contract of Lease that you and Ms. Temeyo have executed,
Paragraph 5 thereof provides that:
“In case of default by the LESSEE in the payment of the rent, such as
when the checks are dishonored, the LESSOR at her option may
terminate this contract and eject the LESSEE…”
As you repeatedly reason out whenever Ms. Temeyo would ask for your
monthly payment , that you have given your supposed allotted payment
for your rent to your younger sister who is in college and due to Ms.
Temeyo’s always being understanding on your part, the same scenario
went on for three months and neither did she terminate the contract nor
ejected you from the premises in the hope that you would keep you word
to “pay next month”.
However, as the bills have piled up, it has become a burden to Ms.
Temeyo to shoulder them all by herself. Despite her verbal demands,
you still have not paid any amount and during these last few days,
despite her efforts to contact you, you have failed to answer any and all
of her messages and calls.
This letter, therefore, demands that you pay the Three Months’ worth of
your rent, amounting to NINETY THOUSAND (P 90,000) PESOS
within fifteen (15) days from receipt of this letter and vacate the
premises.
Otherwise, we will be constrained to pursue such legal remedies to
safeguard and protect the rights of Ms. Jonelle Kristina Z. Temeyo.
Respectfully yours,
