The article Future of Food for 9 billion people is about an author that is telling us points

on why we should eat healthy and why she should cut loose on beef because he is saying that we

are going to grow on population by the year 2050 so we are going to need extra food supply and

cut loose on animals and fix our diets to benefit for us and the animals if we are going to feed

roughly 9 to 10 billion people by the mid century.

In the article Future of food for 9 billion people the author was saying how in the future

we are going to increase our population so we’ll need to cut loose on Beef and all other kinds of

food and start changing our diets for the future generations so they can all eat. In the text it says

”The human population has reached 7.6 billion and could number 9 billion or 10 billion by

midcentury. All those people will need to eat” We are a population of 7.6 billion people in the

world right now and the numbers can grow more and more by the year 2050 and all those people

will need to eat so Us humans right now should cut it on Animals or just start eating healthy

which can benefit us and the animals so they can reproduce more so we can have more food by

the mid century

To continue on in the article the author keeps furthering his point by saying our

environmental system will change 50 to 90 percent. In the text he says ”contends that, without

targeted changes, pressures on various environmental systems will increase 50 to 90 percent by

2050 compared with 2010. There’s no simple solution, the authors write; rather, “a synergistic

combination of measures” will be needed to limit the environmental damage.

One obvious measure is a change in diets.” So by the year 2050 our environmental systems will

increase 50 to 90 percent compared to 2010 so what the author is suggesting is that we need to

limit our Environmental damage and the thing we all need to change is our change in our diets

because we have a problem with not eating healthy and that’s what affects us.

Although According to a report in 2015 they said that many decades ago many people

thought since we were populating more and more that we were going to go short on food as it

states in the text “the global population continues to rise. A 2015 U.N. report estimated that the

population would reach 9.7 billion by 2050. Decades ago, the prospect of so many human beings

crowding the planet inspired predictions of widespread famine. The “green revolution” in

agriculture changed the equations. ”

To End off my point author that is telling us points on why we should eat healthy and

why she should cut loose on beef because he is saying that we are going to grow on population

by the year 2050 so we are going to need extra food supply and cut loose on animals and fix our

diets to benefit for us and the animals if we are going to feed roughly 9 to 10 billion people by

the mid century.
