Pinktober initiative
Cancer supporters who attended the Pinktober fundraising event at the
prestigious Rhum-ba in Port Denarau last month were in for a great treat
from the team at Prouds.
For the second year around, Prouds partnered with the Western Support
Group of the Fiji Cancer Society in the Pinktober initiative by providing
free make-up demos for participants who were all excited like last year to be
pampered by the professionals of the trade.
Fiji Cancer Society CEO Belinda Chan said this was a great way to attract
supporters to be part of the event.
“We would definitely love to have similar sessions in Suva in the near
future – this is just awesome,” Ms Chan said.

Making an environmental
difference with Unilever
As the negative impacts of climate change continues to affect
the environment across the globe, Unilever International – a mul-
tinational consumer goods company is doing all it can to reduce
the burden on mother nature by producing environmentally friendly
products in a sustainable way.
In January 2017, the company committed to ensuring that 100%
of all plastic packaging will be designed to be fully reusable, recy-
clable or compostable by 2025.
The company is moving away from using single-use plastic
packaging – that is, plastic made to be used only once and has ad-
opted an internal framework which is shaping their thinking and
future innovation: less plastic, better plastic, and no plastic.
Keeping up on that commitment, Unilever International which
produces OMO – the oldest and highest selling washing powder de-
tergent in the world is already taking steps to ensure that its products
are friendly to the environment by using sustainably sourced raw gradable as you will not only be getting your value for money but
