Script:

Apollo: (Walk seriously in forest) (Questionably) I really don't understand why we have to meet here.
Couldn't she have chosen a better place to talk!? (Stop and look around the forest until Artemis is
visible(annoyed) Ugh.... (Thinks in mind) Artemis, Artemis... When are you not ruining my day.
(Flashback about Artemis putting the moon over the sun to cause an eclipse)
Artemis: (Gesture hands in pulling direction and watch the moon cover the sun) He he...
Apollo: Artemis, what did you do to the sun? (Look up) A solar eclipse? Really?
(Flashback of Artemis turning his sun chariot into a taxi)
Artemis: (Put a sign on the chariot saying TAXI) He he...
Apollo: Artemis, what did you do to my chariot? A taxi? Really?
Flashback of Artemis using lightning to destroy an airplane model)
Artemis: (Walk in Apollo's bedroom sneakily) He he... (Look out his window, then turn around and
shoot lightning, making a plane explode)
Apollo: (Walk in bedroom) Artemis, what did you do with my... airplane model collection?
(Back to reality:)
Artemis: (Fiercely look at Apollo) I think the moon god deserves a little bit more... the sky. (Smile
lightly, but still fierce.)
Apollo: You always want more, don't you Artemis? The attention, the respect, and the best gifts. I'm
sick of it. (look up and say silently) A battle for the skies...
Artemis: (confidently and loudly) You're on! (thinking in her head) But if I lose... I'll lose the moon
too.... (sprints away)
Apollo: (As Artemis sprints, appear in front of her path cross armed.)
Artemis: (Respectfully) I decline from fighting you.
Apollo: (Relaxed now) Oh, so you want to back out of this fight just because you don't want your
brother to get your half of the sky?
Artemis: (Nervous) No, um, its just---
Apollo: Scared?
Artemis: (With anger and unsureness) Me? Scared? You wish. I'm not afraid to fight you, Apollo.
Apollo: (Cheerfully) Alright! That's what I like to hear! The fun's just about to start.
Artemis: (Rolls eyes, whisper to herself) Airhead...
(Both take off into sky clashing)
Apollo: (Extremely angry and loud) You love to show off, DON'T YOU! (fight even harder)

Artemis: (Even louder and angrier) You blockhead! .It's not as if I try to! It's just because I'm just better
than you!
Apollo: (Look at shield and strike)
Artemis: (Chop off tip of Apollo's spear cleanly and push Apollo back to the forest, making him fall on
a tree)
Apollo: (Rub head in pain) What happened?
(Artemis is visible charging)
Apollo: (Look up to see where shield is) Shoot. It must have fallen off when I hit these trees! (Jump out
of Artemis' way and shoot a sun flame)
Artemis: (Dodge fire and shoot out dark energy from her lance, causing an explosion)
Continue fighting fiercely. Show flashbacks of the younger Apollo and Artemis learning how to fight.
Artemis is the only one getting attention and applause. Apollo fights harder after remembering.
After a few more seconds of fighting:
Apollo: (I will win! No matter what!!' "AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! (charge)
Artemis: KYAHHH!!!! (charge)
As their weapons hit each other, a huge white flash appears as they hit, causing them to be thrown
apart. As they look up, Zeus appears.
Artemis: (Covers face, scared of getting in trouble) Father?
Zeus: (Tap Artemis on the head silently, making her unconscious)
Apollo: (First person shot of Apollo blanking out) Finally... I won.... (Fall to the ground.)
Zeus: (Sighs...) What to do with you... (Examines Apollo and Artemis' wounds, then pick up both of
them and walk out of sight)

(The Next Day)

Apollo: (Open eyes suddenly) Huh? Where am I? (Looks around and finds himself in a cabin, then
stare at the sky from a window) Stars, I order you to dance. (Nothing happens.) Clouds, spell my name
in the sky. (Still nothing happens.) But, I won the challenge...
Zeus: (Open door quickly, making a light slamming noise) What happened last night?
Apollo: (Pretending to be drowsy) Nothing father....
Zeus: (Angrily) Tell me what happened!
Apollo: (Not making eye contact or talking firmly) Artemis and I, um--
Zeus: (Yelling) Spit it out NOW!
Apollo: (Immediately look down) (Mumble) We were fighting over who would have the rite to rule the
skies of Gaea.
Zeus: WHAT!?
(Apollo looks at Artemis, who was awake the whole time but pretending to sleep)
Apollo: (In his mind:) Typical Artemis, she can never take the blame. (Look up at Zeus) (Stuttering
nervously) You see, Artemis was hunting here, in the forest, and I-I was on my chariot, u-up there.
(Point up at the sun) (Loudly with hand gestures now) And so Artemis saw me and she starting
shooting the wheels and I crashed! And she said she was sick of me getting to rule the sun and she
attacked me!
Zeus: And you could have just made a brand new set of wheels and speed away like this? (Snap,
causing tires to appear)
Artemis: (Sigh) (Sit up with an annoyed expression and look at Apollo) You could never lie to save
your life, could you?
Zeus: Could you PLEASE explain to me what happened? (Say so loud Apollo and Artemis flinch in
fear)
Artemis: I called Apollo and told him to meet me in a clearing in this forest. I proceeded to negotiate
with him in letting me take his half of the sky, but he made a big deal about it and challenged me to a
battle of the skies. (Look at Apollo, relaxed)
(Appear in circular table, tense)
Zeus: So, how should we start this negotiation?
Apollo: Well, I say you give me the whole sky, so that way, Artemis, will have nothing!
Artemis: What? Father, that is blasphemy! Surely there is a path of fairness we can take!
Apollo: Father, you can't possibly give the sky to both of us! Do you want us to keep fighting like this
for all eternity?
Zeus: SILENCE! I shall rule the skies of this world!
Apollo and Artemis: But father!
Apollo: Why would you do this!?
Artemis: I don't understand! Why can't you just choose one of us to rule the sky!? It would stop our
pointless rivalry wouldn't it?
Zeus: No it wouldn't! It would just cause more trouble, and I can't possibly trust one of you to rule the
whole sky. You have just gotten your powers and do not have enough experience with them. Unlike
you, I have enough knowledge to rule over anything.
Apollo: If we lose our powers, how can we be called gods?
Zeus: You are right. I am grounding both of you!
Apollo and Artemis: WHAT?
Zeus: For one year you shall be humans, no powers or immortality. That should teach you that being a
god takes responsibility. This matter is finished! (Disappear from the room, leaving a cloud of smoke)
(Apollo and Artemis lose their togas and emerge in human clothes)
Artemis: What happened? This can't be possible. How can I live without the moon!
Apollo: (Runs after the sun) Hey! That's mine!
(After a few attempts in trying to regain their powers, they sit down sadly)
Apollo: (Sigh) I guess father will have the sky now.
Artemis: I understand, but how will we survive as humans?
(Both arrive at a house)
Apollo: So this is how humans live!
Artemis: Hideous! This place is way to small for the two of us, where is my throne and my weapon
rack! (Looks around) Apollo? Where are you? (Finds Apollo with a dog)
Apollo: Artemis, you must see this beautiful creature! It stands on all fours and brought me into the
household!
Artemis: (Looks at Apollo with happiness) Let me see it! (Runs to dog) I shall name this beast Orion,
meaning hunter.
Orion: (Jumps on Artemis gleefully)
Artemis: (Yelps in surprise) What is this four-legged beast, doing!
Apollo: It must be some sort of welcoming ritual!
Artemis: Maybe life won't be too bad.
Apollo: Maybe you are right. (Smiles)
Artemis: Let's see if we can share this place this time. Together. (Walk away slowly)
