4. Answer the following questions


a. What is Benchmarking?
Benchmarking is a continuous process by which the products, services or work processes of
the leading companies are taken as a reference, to compare them with those of your own
company and then make improvements and implement them___________________________
b. What is the process of Benchmarking?
To design and correctly perform a benchmarking process in your company, I recommend
following the following steps: planning, data collection, analysis, action and monitoring.
c. Number the aspects to be taken into account in Benchmarking:
benchmarking contains three aspects that are the most important, these are: quality,
productivity and time

5. Write the vocabulary (20 words) from the reading, and make a Glossary: Organize the
words in alphabetic order and write the meaning of each word.

5.1. High Price: It means that it is a price that is above its equilibrium point and occurs
because there are enough consumers willing to pay or that "high price."
5.2. Mass Market: It is a market strategy in which a company decides to ignore the differences
of market segments and to appeal to the entire market with an offer or a strategy.The idea is to
convey a message that reaches as many people as possible
5.3. Features product: set of attributes that are incorporated into the product as it is the design,
brand, packaging and quality, these characteristics manage to cover in a certain aspect the
demands of the consumer.
5.4. Appearance to product: it is the visual aspect that allows us to determine how a person
perceives a product.
5.5. Life Cycle: It is the set of stages through which a product passes from its introduction in
the market until its retirement.
5.6. Packaging: It is the container designed to preserve it properly during transport, storage
and delivery to the final consumer.
5.7. Marketing Strategy: it is the creation of actions or tactics that lead to the fundamental
objective of increasing sales and achieving a sustainable competitive advantage.
6. Write a ten lines text that summarizes the topic of the activity

Por medio del desarrollo de esta evidencia se busca por un lado reforzar los conocimientos
adquiridos en el desarrollo de las demás actividades de las cuales se dispone en este corte en
la plataforma virtual para poder aplicarlas en nuestro proyecto productivo que estamos
desarrollando, así mismo poder determinar las variables de oferta y demanda y la manera
cómo podemos aplicarlas para ofrecer el producto del cual estamos desarrollando el proyecto
en este corte y a su vez con el desarrollo de la actividad en idioma inglés sobre compresión
de lectura nos permite a los estudiantes ampliar y reforzar nuestro vocabulario de mercadeo
así como el uso de ciertas palabras del marketing que utilizaremos en el momento que
debamos dar a conocer nuestro proyecto productivo en el idioma inglés utilizando palabras
relacionadas con el vocabulario del marketing aplicándolas a nuestro producto.
