Introduction

I have been observing people who successfully ran their business on Bread and Pastries, but I have no idea
how they managed it. I am a TESDA (The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) certified
on Bread and Pastry Production NC II, but I lacked knowledge on how to run a business.

The Academy for Creating Enterprise has granted me an opportunity to avail an internship program that
deeply focused on:

Cake Production

Cakes are made quickly and easily with the help of both electric and non-electric tools and. In order to
make more production and save more time, invest on equipments.

Baking tools and sophisticated techniques are combined together to produce a deliciously made
‘Elsa Frozen’ themed birthday cake.

Human Resource

Sister Fely is responsible for interviewing and hiring new applicants to help her dispose her top selling
products. Currently, she has 6 employees namely: Eduardo Dimacuta(husband), Edralyn
Dimacuta(daughter), Jenifer Bongalos, Edafhel Favia, Ronald Casabuena, and Flaviano Maduro.

Tour

We went to a place called KC Land where we took pictures of the grandeur beauty of Mayon Volcano.
Sister Fely said that it was part of her job as a provider to bring interns to different cultural heritages to
understand and embrace the beauty of Bicolano culture. It was a jaw-dropping experience to see the
perfect cone-shaped Mayon Volcano. If it wasn’t for the ACE Internship program, I might not be able to
understand the system and principles behind a successful business.
