This week you worked on your idea generation and
topic research
We were asked to create 3 ideas for our
documentary based on the target of audience of 16-
24 year olds which had suited both genders. Our 3
ideas were based on racism in sport, Homelessness,
and the pros and cons of a zoo. We were asked to
choose a idea and get a expert to talk about it also
we were asked to research to see which one will be
most convient
As the final decision we went with homelessness since
it would be easier to film also it would be easier to find
a expert in this field. Since football would’ve been
hard to find a player ready to talk about his problems
also it would be hard for a player to accept us and let
us do a interview. We didn’t do zoo since it would be
hard to be allowed to film in a zoo since some animals
could be exposed to flash photography.
I had completed around 2 and a half hours of
research just looking at articles and statistics also
some videos go in debt about the homelessness
problem in the uk since there is around 300,000
people homeless in the uk also people struggling with
financial problems and also there are several people
that are bankrupt or in debt
For this week I have completed all the tasks assigned
to me including mind maps research and Harvard
referencing the articles

have a huge effect on the audience as well as the
programme
Josh had completed the location recess while I had
done the equipment booking and list and also done
the crew list
How you ask the question which makes them
comfortable to answer and make sure you are formal
and they are comfortable also we learnt the camera
framing and we should keep 2 cameras in case one
camera footage gets lost or if we need to use another
angle of the footage

This week you worked on your production
It was good since we knew how to frame the camera
in order to get 2 point of views of cameras and we
could use that in when we finally edit. Also the
questions were good and open which allowed our
expert to talk about in more depth detail
We had used 2 cameras with LED light on top of one
of them also we had a mic but reailized we didn’t
need it since the cameras mic was efficient enough
We didn’t have that many issues but a few times you
can hear background noise which we had to edit out
also she had made a mistake which we had edited
out in the final production
We worked well since we had split the tasks equally
and during the production I was in charge of the
camera whereas Josh had been asking the questions
and even if we were a group of 2 we had good
chemistry and worked well
