★ The main focus of this app is to provide a platform for
artists to share their webtoons to an audience of
readers!
★ I would characterize this app as creative and under the
“Books” category, for you can go on it to read many
stories for entertainment!
★ I am someone who loves both everything about webtoons,
from the storytelling to the art. I also love to read, so
this app is perfect for inspiring me (an aspiring
writer)!

Webtoon
★ The target audience of this app is
teens and young adults, as the
stories appeal to those demographics
and are made by artists in those
demographics.
★ The app’s design is very fun and
bright. It appeals to young adults!
★ The content is very diverse and
unique to each artist. Each webtoon
is homemade by young and talented
self-made artists!
★ The app is very
innovative in how it
provides free quality
webtoons, all in one
place, with ease, for
young adults right on
their phones.
★ The app is well
organized by genre and
it is always easy to
find fresh new stories!
People love this app; it
has an average review of
4.6/5 stars on the apple
app store!

★ If I had to alter an aspect of the app, I
would make the notification system more
streamlined. As a user, if you don’t
manually change the settings you get email
as well as mobile notifications and this
can get annoying.
★ The app is FREE!
★ Webtoon has already been extremely popular
and well-ingrained into East Asian
culture, but it is definitely starting to
gain popularity and make a mark in the
West as well.

Flo
Flo
★ Flo’s main focus is helping
women track their menstrual
cycles!
★ This app would be characterized
under “practical” because it
provides a necessary asset to
every woman’s calendar.
★ Me, being a woman, use a period
tracking app. It is very useful,
informational, and helpful.
★ The target audience of the app
is any and all women of
menstruating age! It also has
a feature that helps expecting
and want-to-be mothers.
★ The app’s design is visually
appealing while also being
minimalist.
★ The app provides not only a
period tracker but also female
health and wellness based
articles/courses to keep its
users feeling their best and
learning about women’s health!
Flo
★ The app is innovative in the
sense that women can feel as
though they have more power
over their periods, plan
according to their cycle, and
even more easily get pregnant
if that is their goal. It
also integrates self-care and
female sexual empowerment
into the app.
★ The app’s minimalistic design
and user-friendly software
makes it incredibly easy to
use and understand.
★ If I had to alter one thing, it would be the
notification system. When Flo alerts you of
your cycle beginning soon, it pops up right
on your home screen and isn’t very discreet.
For privacy purposes, I would make the alerts
more ambiguous so as they’re not broadcasting
personal information.
★ The app is free, but you can subscribe to
“Pro” for a fee and some extra benefits.
★ The app is incredibly popular and users love
it! It’s accomplishments are listed below:
