PLC Planning Notes

Directions: Use this menu to help you set an agenda for your weekly PLC meeting(s). Below are some general guidelines:

A 45 minute PLC meeting should include at least one but no more than three of the “menu items”
Over the course of a quarter, you should do each type of meeting at least once.
Consider making a month long plan for your meetings, keeping in mind how your planning needs shift over the course of a unit

McGarry and I will do labs on the same day; Schweizer, Wuu, Boettcher will do labs same day then every
Unit Planning 1 teacher can do the lab on the same day with all their classes.
2/3 of Cindy's on level is 0/1 in math and 7 honors students are 0/1 in math; Everyone will check their lists
looking for target students. Math Instructional Goal: For all students with a specific focus on Hispanic
students receiving FARMS support to be able to interpret mathematical expressions, show supporting
SLO planning evidence in their work, and explain their own reasoning.

What we included was Math Instructional Goal: For all students with a specific focus on Hispanic students
Develop language in our SLO that receiving FARMS support to be able to interpret mathematical expressions, show supporting evidence in
Developing Common Assessment matches the county language their work, and explain their own reasoning.
We discussed strategies and assessments for on level classes in ofder to get students familiar with the
Reflection on Common Lesson 2 concept of slop and its relation to speed. Joe will share the virtual lab with the team.
