If a gearbox is the subject of a claim and is replaced by a new gearbox or an exchange gearbox, the exchange report
must be placed in the accompanying plastic pocket. One completed copy for each repair must accompany the
exchanged material, or we will not process the claim.

Exchanged gearboxes (control systems) should be packaged in packaging material that gives maximum protection
when returned.
This procedure applies to gearboxes removed under an exchange number or a production number.

If the packaging is insufficient, a surcharge will be debited irrespective of whether the claim is correct or not.

NOTE! The aim of this is to ensure good returned component quality, for quality follow-up purposes, and for overhaul.

A gearbox should only be the subject of a claim if there is a material defect. If a gearbox leaks, you must clearly mark
the leakage point on the illustrations above.
