Photons are light particles, too small for the naked eye to see, that compose all light. Unlike protons neutrons and
electrons, photons have no mass

The nature of light has been a topic of controversy since the time of Newton. Newton concluded that light was
composed of particles because the periphery of the shadows it created was extremely sharp and clear.

However, several scientists, including Grimaldi, Huygens, Fresnel, and Young, refuted this theory, stating that light
was, in fact, composed of waves. The particle theory does not account for wave-related phenomena, such as such
as diffraction and interference. However, the wave theory cannot fully clarify why photons fly out of metal that is

What is your opinion on Woojin leaving Stray Kids?

i’m scared.
i’m scared for stray kids. what’s going to happen to them?
woojin was the oldest member and like a big brother to them. overnight, chan became the oldest
member, despite already being the leader. that’s a lot of pressure for one person to handle, and
considering all the controversy he’s involved in, all the hate he’s receiving, i’m not sure how well he’ll hold
up.
woojin was also the main vocal, and i personally think that he is the strongest, vocal-wise, in the group.
seungmin, the lead vocal, will probably take over his role, but woojin’s voice would never be something he
can replace. he is the most ready in the group to do the high notes. seungmin’s great, but it’s going to be
very tough for him to fill woojin’s position.
stray kids gained popularity mainly because they feel like home to their fans. they refer to themselves as a
‘family’, and their bond is one of their biggest pull factors. “nine or none”, that was the phrase so loved by
many stays (their fans), so what are they going to do now? “eight or none”? it feels so hollow.
honestly, it doesn’t seem real yet. i’m not sure how long it’s going to take to sink in, that woojin won’t be
in any of their songs, he won’t be performing at their concerts, he won’t be there at interviews.
stray kids wouldn’t have let him go that easily. he must be going through something very serious, and i
wish him the best of luck in overcoming his difficulties and whatever future he will choose.
as for his members, they’re going to be very affected. psychologically. as you can see so far, stray kids are
quite emotional people. they’ve written some pretty meaningful lyrics, and i expect they’re going to take a
sharp turn with woojin’s recent departure. we’re probably going to see them sad, hurt, and quiet for a
while, instead of their usual funny, cheerful selves. and that’s going to sting, a lot. woojin was someone
they really relied on.
worst-case scenario, after their next comeback, we might get news of them disbanding. because their
heartwarming image of a “family” has been shattered. they’ve gone through a lot with woojin, and losing
him is going to be a huge blow. but let’s not think about that, because if they do disband, i don’t know
what i will do.
“hard times will pass.” one day, there will be new stays, that don’t know who woojin is. but that’s okay,
because i’ll be there to tell them what he did for stray kids, and how much he loved his fans. i hope that
we will never forget his contributions, but still move on from the hurt we’re facing now.
but as jisung said, “it ain’t over.” hopefully, stray kids will continue to do well as 8 members. as for
woojin, in the end, i just want him to be happy. if he feels it’s the best decision for him, then so be it. i will
always support him and i really hope that in the future, he will do what he loves and chase his dreams.
Today on 28th October Woojin left Stray Kids. This information was conveyed to us by a rather
shot letter by JYP. This week all the members were unnaturally quiet and inactive.
I, yesterday night saw STAYs waiting for Bang Chan’s Vlive. I also remember International Stays asking
each other to text or inform them as soon as he goes live, as some of them wanted to sleep because it
was late at night and Chan always goes live during the Korean Standard time which is not feasible for
international stays. But he didn’t show up for a Vlive. They surmised that his previous Vlive received a ton
of harsh comments and so he decided to not go live this week. Lee Know’s birthday too was neglected
and no posts were made, fans took it as they were busy. However, Stray Kids have always updated us even
during their busiest times.
1.I’ll be honest. It all came off to me as very sketchy.
2. Everything was extremely quiet. They have removed his name from their website and every other place
rather quickly and swiftly. Even google says Woojin member of Stray Kids 2017–2019.
3. They've postponed dates for their comeback meaning that he was a part of and was involved in the
upcoming comeback which draws a conclusion that Woojin leaving was something they hadn’t
considered.
4. Him leaving was as unexpected and unforeseen to the other members and JYP himself, as it was to us.
5. Speculations of him dating has come up but idols date all the time. However I can be wrong but I don’t
think it’s about a dating issue. Something more major must’ve happened. Dating is not that big a scandal
as fans make it out to be.
6. I don’t think it’s a mental health issue either because just like Mina he could’ve taken a break.
7. We didn’t get his point of view, his letter, his statement.
There might be a chance that Woojin didn’t leave but was kicked out.
There are many people on Twitter comparing Woojin’s situation to Junhyeok (a member of Day6 who left
the group) because the statement that JYP released was very similar to that of Junhyeok’s. However,
Junhyeok was dating a fan but JYP didn’t throw him out of the company and let him continue in the
group, but Junhyeok left on his own accord because he didn’t want to bring embarrassment to his group
and also there was a lot of pressure from netizens on social media.
If you ask me, it’s more deeper than just DATING. It’s something so severe that JYP was pissed enough to
just terminate his contract and remove his name from everything possible but that is, if he was booted. If
he wasn’t booted then we have to go by what the statement says “He left due to personal circumstances”.
What if we never hear from him again? Where will he go? What will he do? Will he join another company?
We don't know anything. I know we can't interfere too much but I hate that we're kept in the dark. I hope
he left because HE wanted to; not because he had to.
Edit- Everyone talking about Woojin dating rumors and that he got kicked out because he was caught
dating are really naive. Idols date all the time, even the one’s who have a dating ban. Fans are making
dating out to be a bigger scandal that it actually is. If every idol who is dating would be kicked out of their
company then more than half of these idols would be thrown out of their companies. In fact from what I
heard, JYP is a company that goes easier on their idols dating than SM and YG.
My friend came up to me at the end of lunch break at my school and told me that Woojin left Stray Kids. I
didn’t believe her at first but then I looked it up on my phone and I was absolutely devastated. Woojin, my
2nd bias in Stray Kids had left. I was in shock and started to tear, in the middle of the year 7 hub.
I started to show my other stay friends, but I think I was the one that took it to the heart the most. I was in
utter disbelief and soon the bell went for last period (we had P.E) and all I could think about was Woojin.
Honestly, JYP isn’t telling us something. As many may know, a member of Day6 left and JYP left almost
the exact same statement.

but it hurt, like so bad, I’m still crying, about 8–9 hours after it as announced. I’ve only been a Stay for like
4 months, but seeing one of the members go, when Chan and Felix have both said that Stray Kids would
be 9, was so harsh. Woojin was one of the more introverted members, but you could see he loved them
dearly. Stray Kids, in Stay’s eyes, will always be 9.
Woojin, I know you’re not going to read this, but I just want to let you know that Stay will be by your side
always and forever. You are a talented and stunning young man that will become into something even
more amazing. Your vocals were amazing, your dancing was amazing and your love and care for the other
members were extraordinary. Everyone will miss you, but if you agreed to leave JYP, that’s your decision
and we can only agree with what is right for you. Stray Kids will never be the same, but we can only keep
you in our hearts now. Thank you Woojin, you have done your best for Stray Kids and we can only keep
pumping you up for your future. Thank you Woojin… Thank you.

can all stand strong and keep Woojin going. Woojin was a great inspiration to all of us and I hope, just

I just had a realisation. Because Woojin was in Double Knot, that means he was definitely meant to be in

It was when I was I gonna go to sleep last night that I heard it. I went on Quora and then clicked on
the Q/Kpopfans space, to see what was there. I see the article and Woojin leaving.
Wait, what?
I rub my eyes, and then I see it again. Stray Kids announces Woojin’s departure.
Holy shit, this cannot be true… I think as I search it up online. But what I was met with was a Soompi article
confirming the news. My mom shouts at me to go to sleep since it was 11 pm and it was a Monday the
next day.
So my mom dozed off next to me, but I just stare at the ceiling and wonder about him and Stray Kids.
What is gonna happen to them? How is everyone else feeling? Is that why Chan was like that??
Is there something behind this?
I put away my thoughts and then I go back on Quora. I share the link and talk to Yuna Maria for a while,
then sleep. I dreamed about Stray Kids and seeing them live in concert that night. With Woojin.
The whole day was a blur but now I am still saddened by the news. I have no idea if this was more than it
seems, or there was something else behind it more than merely “personal reasons”. My heart grows heavy
at literally everything about Stray Kids today.
Theorizing about this won't get me anywhere, though it would be nice to know the full story, yet that
might not happen anytime soon.
To be honest, on this platform, I do not share my love for Stray Kids as much as other groups, but I truly
love them all with my heart.
All I can say is, despite this being super sudden…
Woojin can do whatever he wants to do. I wish him the best of luck… whether he goes solo or
abandons the idol life, I will continue to support him and Stray Kids. No matter what. It will always
be OT9 in my heart.

I was in total and complete shock. I still am. Like, how???? It just doesn’t make sense in my mind. I went to
the last Stray Kids world tour, and I’m planning on going to the next one. But to think of the different
environment with just 8 members is . . . awful. I know that the concert will be a lot different without him,
and everyone will probably be really sad.
BUT.
If any of you have ever lost a family member, you know that your family struggles because of it. Our Stray
Kids family is surely struggling at this time. But have you also noticed that it brings you closer to each
other?? By all having hardships together - and overcoming them together - you find a closeness that
wasn’t there before. I feel like STAY and Stray Kids are closer than ever through this time, to support and
love each other.
It was really sad to see Woojin disappear so freaking fast. On the “profile” section on the official Stray Kids
website, there are already only 8 members. Also, Wikipedia calls Stray Kids an “8 member band”. And if
you search “Kim Woojin” on Google, he comes up as Stray Kids member from 2017–2019. Not to present.
Just listen to how insanely wrong this feels:

To Chan - I know it's so hard for you!! People are really mean to you a lot, but you can do it!! I know
Woojin is your best friend, the one you confide in most. If you ever need it, I - and the rest of STAY, I'm

To the other members - Keep fighting!! This is a hard time for all of us. It's sad, it's distressing, its
hopeless, it's depressing, it's just awful. But you will always have Woojin with you, and you will always have
each other!! (And of course you'll always have STAY.)
And finally, to STAY - I know you're so, so sad. I'M so, so sad, too. But we're not losing Woojin!! He will
ALWAYS be a part of our Stray Kids family. So "9 or none" is still true, because all nine members are still a
part of us!! I hope someday we can feel happy again, and we can realize that no matter what, Stray Kids
will always stay, even if they're physically not here.

I’m a Stay almost for a year now. Three days ago was the rainiest day in Stray Kids’ history so far, Woojin
left the group. Gosh, it’s always the same, when I see something like this it’s so hard to believe it at first,
so hard to accept it after and so hard to understand it’s absolutely nothing you can do.
I wasn’t a great fan of Woojin, he always was somewhere in the background. He always was, and it
seemed that he’ll always be there. For them, for us. He just was one of two mainstays, Chan’s supporter,
everybody else’s guiding hand. Now he’s gone, and nobody seems to know why. Something happened,
and sudden silence fell for couple of days. And when silence was broken, all hell broke loose. And now not
only Woojin is not a member of Stray Kids anymore, but his contract with JYPE was terminated too.
What could happen that he was kicked out so fast like this? Could he decide to leave himself? I can
believe it after he told that he was happier to see his parents proud after his debut because he felt bad
when he couldn’t debut with NCT before. But was he happy himself? On the other hand, I can’t believe he
left the group like this, just before another comeback, without saying his goodbyes to Stays. Woojin
wouldn’t do it to Chan, to all his younger members, to all of us. But I also can’t imagine what he could do
to be kicked out. It’s very strange to realize one simple thing we often forget about – behind the scenes
where we can’t see them they live in a world we know very little about. Sometimes they go into deep
waters and things go wrong for them.
I pray for all of them to overcome it and stay strong. I hope Woojin will find his path and will be truly
happy. I hope all members will unite and be each other’s support. I hope Chan won’t blame himself and
will be able to stay their captain even in such hard times. We love you Woojin no matter what. We love
you guys no matter what. Please keep following your compass and may it show the right way for you.

Mine. I was in a Wal-Mart with my son and he started to act up. He wanted a toy and was about to start a tantrum. I knew what
was coming. So just before he laid down to start his tantrum, I decided I would beat him to it.

I flopped down and started throwing my own tantrum. Loudly screaming and crying, beating my hands and kicking my feet. I
screamed at the top of my lungs; “I don't wanna buy a toy. You're such a mean, horrible son. You never let me do anything I
want.”

My son was so embarrassed. Other patrons stood around wondering what was going on. At least until they caught on to my game.
Some employees showed up and were about ask me to leave, before someone told them what was going on.

Yes I misbehaved. Yes I made a spectacle of myself. Yes I embarrassed my son. But he never threw another tantrum.

Wow! So many upvotes. I live in a small town and very rarely see anyone acting out. So I thought I'd share my story of a 6′1″
man throwing a temper tantrum to shock his kid into behaving. I'm glad I could cheer up so many with my antics.

Another thing that works is summoning the crowd over to observe the tantrum. My husband once asked our kid to speak up so
that the Moms in produce could hear him. Stopped it cold.

I once came to the rescue of an embarrassed Mom (Shouldn’t it be the KID who’s embarrassed?) by sidling over and
commenting that yes, this was a pretty good tantrum, but my son’s were better, followed by details of loudness, length and bodily
energy. The child stopped, gave me the royal stink eye and sulked away quietly.

I saw something like this once, and boy did it work! A kid was throwing a massive tantrum and his dad started inviting people to
“watch the show” and went even as far as to saying to the audience (quietly, so the kid wouldn’t hear) that we should also laugh a
little while watching him. When the boy noticed he was on prime time, he shut up and walked away really fast. Oh, lessons from
embarrassment.

Yes. It’s great development when the person who should be embarrassed realizes it. This sort of thing also makes it perfectly
clear that said tantrum is a strategy and not simply that someone is so upset that they cannot control their behavior.

My husband and I did that by accident when our child was 7 months old. She lay on the floor in our entry hall screaming. We
looked at her, then each other in amazement and asked “Is she really throwing a tantrum?” Children aren’t “supposed to” start
throwing tantrums until they are over a year old.

I took a picture and the whole thing was so absurd that hub and I started giggling. She stopped screaming and I’m not sure if she
ever threw a tantrum again.

I've done similar several times. Learned it from Gramps. Gramps used to just point and laugh. Full on deep bellowing belly
laugh. That got the kid's attention. Then he'd start in saying *dead pan* that it was, at best, a pitiful example of a real tantrum and
start giving the kid “pointers” on “how to be more effective and believable”

It's truly amazing how quickly the kid packs it in when a stranger pulls this.
