Standar Kompetensi : Setelah menyelesaikan mata kuliah ini, taruna Mampu/dapat
menggunakan Bahasa Inggris dalam bentuk tulisan dan lisan
dalam komunikasi umum Bahasa Inggris Maritim.
Kompetensi Dasar : Memahami instruksi VHF dan memberikan penjelasan;
berlatih prosedur pertukaran VHF.
Indikator : 1. Grammar: Past Continuous; contrast between Past Simple
and Past Continuous; introduction to reported speech
2. Vocabulary: review of verbs describing onboard
activities; the readability code for VHF transmissions;
phrases for stages of a VHF exchange procedure
3. Listening and speaking: illustrating the VHF
communication procedure
4. Reading and writing: explaining instructions and dealing
with VHF exchange procedures
I. Tujuan Pembelajaran : At the end of the learning, students are able to comprehend
and use:
1. Grammar: Past Continuous; contrast between Past
Simple and Past Continuous; introduction to reported
speech
2. Vocabulary: review of verbs describing onboard
activities; the readability code for VHF transmissions;
phrases for stages of a VHF exchange procedure
