The Senior High School Grade 12 Student’s Organization is expressing its eagerness of
pursuing the “BARBIERAKO- a night to remember” A Senior High School Advance
Christmas Party Edition on December 7, 2019 at 6:00pm in the SJNHS covered court,
with the theme: “Socialization: a bridge for one’s transformation”
The activity aims to raise awareness on gender equality and sensitivity among our
students. In addition, it will help them show their creativity, encourage camaraderie and
improve social skills.
In connection with this, we are appealing for your approval in the conduct of the activity,
the organization would be happy to discuss this proposal with you in a very short notice.

ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
VII. RATIONALE
Respect for gender preferences is obviously becoming one of the concerns of the
society, and this impacts the youth the most.
It is with this concept that the Senior High School Grade 12 Students’
Organizations would like to raise awareness regarding this issue.
The activity hopes to shed light among our fellow students the importance of
understanding and respect to one’s gender preference, by giving the participants of the
search for BARBIE-RAKO 2019 the fee of being a woman. Also oneness and creativity
among the members of each class and camaraderie among the Senior High School
students’ body and teaching and non-teaching staff.

All SHS students are encouraged to join the abovementioned event. The
students will buy ticket amounting to PHP 50.00 to their respective adviser. The ticket
will serve as their gate pass and parent’s permit and it will be invalid if there is no
signature and contact information of the parents or guardian. OOTN or the Outfit of the
Night with Christmas Touch is the theme for the attire but slippers, inappropriate
dresses and foods and drinks, alcoholic drinks and any harmful materials are not
allowed, disobedience may invalid the ticket, in this case the ticket fee is unrefundable.
Inability to attend may request for refund.
The organizer will give special awards during the conduct of the event.
PARTNERS IN CRIME
Persons to be considered as the Dance floor Dynamite. They are those who
enjoyed the rest of the night by dancing. (Any sexes or gender)
BEST IN OOTN
A student wearing the best outfit.
BARBIE-RAKO 2019
Search for the finest Man which is SJNHS Student who adopts and projects as if
he is a lady. The objectives are to increase the awareness of the students on Gender
Equality and Sensitivity, to allow the students to show creativity and encourage
camaraderie and lastly to share happiness.
MECHANICS:
1. Each Strand and Block (section) shall have one representative. Only MALE
students (Heterosexual) can represent.
2. Each representative will portray that they are females.
3. The representatives will undergo Orientation about the search.
4. There will be Four (4) parts on the search:
PART 1: BARBIERACTION NUMBER
The candidates will introduce themselves. The candidates will be judged
accordingly:
CRITERIA:
Production and Self Introduction 60%
Confidence and Projection 10%
Audience Impact 30%
TOTAL 100%
The highest pointer candidate in joined points of the three judges in the
Production and Self Introduction which is equivalent to 60% will be awarded as the
BEST IN BOKA. Also, the highest pointer candidate in the joined points of the three
judges in the Yell which is equivalent to 40% will be awarded as Darling of the Crowd.
PART 2: CHRISTMAS SPECIAL ATTIRE
The candidates will wear their best and unique Christmas attire out of recycled
materials. As part of the CLASH OF CLASS, the represented class should demonstrate
their creativity on making concepts and props.
CRITERIA:
PAKEME-Sportswear 70%
Confidence and Projection 10%
Creativity 20%
TOTAL 100%
The highest pointer candidate in joined points of the three judges in the
PAKEME-Sportswear which is equivalent to 70% will be awarded as Best in PAKEME-
CHRISTMAS WEAR
PART 3: LONG GOWN COMPETITION (Curtain)
The candidates will wear attire from the curtains of their respective rooms. As
part of the CLASH OF CLASS, the represented class should demonstrate their creativity
in the on the spot designing without any use of tailoring materials.
CRITERIA:
Curtain Attire 70%
Confidence and Projection 10%
Creativity 20%
TOTAL 100%
The highest pointer candidate in joined points of the three judges in the Curtain
Attire is equivalent to 70% will be awarded as Best in CURTAIN ATTIRE
PART 4: PRELIMINARY QUESTION AND ANSWER
The five highest pointer candidates in joined points of the three judges from part
1, 2, 3 will continue to the final round.
The candidates will read the question, first and Master/s of ceremony will read
the question again. The candidates will answer preparedly, and they will be judged
accordingly:
Persuasiveness 60%
Impact to the Audience 20%
Spontaneity 20%
Total 100%
PART 5: QUESTION AND ANSWER
As part of the contest, the five highest pointers will be given a chance to prove
that they deserve the title. This will serve as basis to identify who will be crowned as
BARBIERAKO 2019 Christmas Edition. The candidates will be judged accordingly:
Persuasiveness 60%
Impact to the Audience 20%
Spontaneity 20%
Total 100%
MAJOR AWARDS
The three highest pointer candidates in voicing out their advocacy will be
awarded as follow accordingly.
