 ABSTRACT

Web Technology is a method by which computers communicate with each other through the use of
markup languages and multimedia packages. It uses variety of markup languages such as hypertext
markup language (HTML) and cascading style sheets (CSS). The project Online examination is a
software solution which allows a particular company or institute to arrange,conduct and manage
examination via an online examination.Some of the problems faced by manual examination system
are delays in the results. Processing,filtering of records is not easy.the chance of loss of records is
high and also record searching is difficult,maintenance of system is also very difficult,and takes lot
of time and effort.The Online examination is automatically generated by the system administrator
has a privilege to create,modify and delete the test papers and its particular questions user can
register,login and give the test with his specific id and see result as well.
 INTRODUCTION

On-line examinations contents providers to focus on creating effective assessment questions and
focusing on exam’s feedback delivery to students. In the paper we present techniques that are
pertinent to the elements of assessment process: answers submission, computerized grading, and
feedback after submission.

As the modern organizations are automated and computers are working as per the
instructions, it becomes essential for the coordination of human beings, commodity and computers
in a modern organization.

The administrators ,instructor,Students who are attending for online examination can
communicate with the system through this projects, thus facilitating effective implementation and
monitoring of various activities of Online Examinations like conducting Exams as per scheduled
basis and delivering result to that particular use or student.And the details of students who
attempted Online Examination are maintained at administrator.

 SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS SPECIFICATIONS

A system development environment is a set of hardware and software tools that act in
combination in an integrated way to provide support for whole of the software process from
initial specification to testing and delivery. The minimum hardware and software requirements
for the system to work efficiently are:

• BACK-END : SQL Server(MySQL)
