Presentation and discussion of 6 papers from the last 12 months in particular

controversial issues (From the ESTES Journal or from Journal of trauma and
acute care surgery? Or the American Journal of Surgery…)

2. MUSEC Point of Care Ultrasound Consensus Conference

MUSEC Steering group

3. Video Session: ESTES: Members share their experience in difficult and

controversial topics, management of complications, etc.

4. World Café sessions: It would be necessary, that one lecture hall is dedicated for
this format and several sections have one of their sessions there. It is not feasible
to change the seating in every break. – It would be possible to gather all the
world café sessions of all sections in one room during one day and change the
seats for the next day – eventually

5. Keynote lectures:
a. Acute Appendicitis Diagnosis: Ultrasound or CT scan?
b. Swallowed foreign bodies
c. Emergency surgery in the immune compromised patient
