    Preface
    Hey kids!
    Assalam-u- Alaikum,
    My friends and I have some great news for you: this series is full of
    stories! From learning the alphabets to understanding the concepts
    of grammar, much of the learning in this series is done through
    stories. There are picture stories to develop your listening and
    written stories to develop your reading. You will see Ahmed, Kitten,
    Zebra, Owl and me doing many interesting things that you would
    love to listen and read about. For example: there is a story about
    the time, when I was left outside the house, and Kitten
    helped Ahmed to find me. You will also see
    Owl trying to treat Ahmed’s bruise with some
    pretty unusual things. These stories will help
    you learn about the environment you live in.
    They will also increase your word power without
    any rote-memorizing. All this listening,
    speaking, reading, and writing will prepare
    you for something very important:
    creative writing.
    By the end of this series, you will start
    expressing yourself. Just do me a favour,
    when you start doing that: don’t forget
    to write about me and my friends!
