Abstract

ESTABILLO, ELBERT, C. “Nycole’s Wines and Spirits General

Merchandise Computerized Inventory and Sales System.” System Analysis
and Design II. Computer Programming NC IV. AIE College International,
Laoag City.
Adviser: LOUIE J. UBAY
The purpose of the study is to develop a computerized inventory
and sales system for Nycole’s Wines and Spirits General Merchandise.
The system would be advantageous to the proprietor, manager and
cashier for their inventory and sales records.
The study conducted an interview as a methodology in gathering
data from two respondents composed of proprietor/operation manager
and cashier. In the formulation of the proposed inventory system,
responses were put into analysis. Visual Basic 6.0 programming
language was used.
Findings showed that the manual system utilized by the said
business establishment has problems in terms of efficiency. The
performance of the proposed system’s processes data, programming
language and other transactions like recording, storing and saving, and
updating of data into the system will be a great indication for Nycole’s
Wines and Spirits General Merchandise to utilize and adopt the proposed
computerized inventory and sales system.
It can be noted that in the development of computerized inventory
and sales system will be used as guide by other researchers and
students who will conduct the same studies in the future, and it must be
used by the said business establishment as an alternative technology
in inventory and sales management and the proposed system must be
enhanced and maintained for utilization by the business establishment
and other business enterprises.
