II. Subject Matter


Topic: Parts of the Human Reproductive System and their functions

 Reproductive system - system involved in sexual reproduction. It


is a collection of organs in an organism that function together for
sexual reproduction.
A. Concept  Male reproductive organs - are the penis, the testicles, the
epididymis, the vas deferens, and the prostate gland.
 Female reproductive organs - are the vagina, uterus (womb),
Fallopian tubes, and ovaries.

III. Procedures
 Teacher will not be around to facilitate the lesson due to participation of the
teacher as coach of Division Sci-Quest 2019.
 Teacher provided a STRATEGIC INTERVENTION MATERIAL (SIMS)
for the day’s lesson which will be facilitated by the teacher reliever.
 For the engage part of the lesson, LOOP ACTIVITY pages 2-3 of SIMs will
be given to the students. This part of the SIMs engages the students to the
topic that aims to hook them into what is the topic about and it is also a pre-
assessment, since, the lesson has already discuss during Grade 5 LC code
S5LT-IIa-1
 The following are the pages 2-3 of SIMs (see attachment for clear view of the
SIMs):

Process Skills: Remembering(Recall Previous Lesson), Describing and
Analyzing skill
 For the explore part of the lesson, a THINK- GROUP-SHARE Activity
on pages 4-6 of the SIMs will be given to the students.. At this part of
the lesson, students with their group will read the passage on pages 5-6.
B. Explore After which, students with their group will share ideas by
brainstorming to be able to answer the table given in the Think-Group-
Share Activity. In this part that students would explore through reading
comprehension and their knowledge will be enhanced.
 The following are the page 4-6 of SIMs (see attachment for clear view
of the SIMs):

Process Skills: Reading Comprehension, Cooperation, Collaborative work,
Analyzing, and Communicating.

 For the explain part of the lesson, REPORT thru BLOG and FB Post
Activity on pages 7-8 of the SIMs will be given to the students.. At this
part of the lesson, students with their group will navigate the concept
of the lesson by explaining or presenting in-depth discussion of the
lesson thru ICT integration. A rubric is attached to assess the learning
process.
 The following are the pages 7-8 of SIMs (see attachment for clear view
of the SIMs):

Strategy: Reporting thru Video Blogging and FB posting (ICT Integration)

 For the elaboration part of the lesson, the lesson was elaborated thru
Guide sheet on pages 9-10 of the SIMs.. At this part, an Enrichment
activity on pages 11-12. There are two type of enrichment activity.The
teacher can choose if all of the enrichment activity will be given to
D. Elaborate student. For the enrichment activity B, it is a differentiate task wherein
student can choose which among the task the student wishes to do. A
rubric is attached to assess the learning process.

 For the evaluation part of the lesson, an Assessment sheet with
attached answer sheet on pages 13-14 of the SIMs will be given to
student. The answer sheet will be given to student after answering the
assessment sheet.
