 Lack of emergency/disaster preparedness- Community
 Staff preparedness for emergencies- Impatient

 OBJECTIVE #1: Synthesize the role of the Advanced Practice Nurse in providing culturally responsive care to diverse
clients in the long-term acute care hospital.
 OBJECTIVE #2: Compare emergency operation protocols at the long-term acute care hospital with best practice
recommendations from National Response Framework.
 OBJECTIVE #3: Investigate community resources for elderly patients diagnosed with chronic diseases.
 OBJECTIVE #4: Develop an educational pamphlet to increase family and patient awareness of disaster/emergency
