Project Description:

Project Description:
Hong Leong Bank has acquired the EON bank recently and it is in the process of
migrating EON Bank customer data to HLB. They are planning to develop a new
Framework called Fuzion in both Malaysia and Vietnam. Fuzion contains all the old
customers of EON and HLB and it also includes the new customers of HLB.
It contains all the data regarding Banking accounts (All types like Current, Savings
etc.), Credit Cards, Loans and Insurance. It is quite a huge data to work on and it has
interfaces like OCM 24, Support Center, Asccend, WLL, Siebel etc. I am interacting with
Call Center, Finance, Fraud departments.
The projects front end is developed in Java and the back-end is developed in
Mainframes, AS400 and DB2. This Project we are working on Payments for ATM and
Credit Cards through Mainframes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Description:
Tariff for General Insurance in Malaysia is governed by Bank Negara Malaysia. The
De-Tariff exercise for General Insurance is expected to be implemented in 2016 whereby
Insurance Companies will have their own competitive advantage to package their products
innovatively as well provide competitive pricing to their customers. To ensure that Am
General Insurance Berhad is ready for the De-tariff exercise, the De-tariff Program was
created. The de-tariff program is categorized into the following areas: Private Car,
MotorCycle and Commercial Vehicles.
Amabpol Frontend and Backend (Core System) is used as Front End for Cover
Note issuance by Branch Counters and Banca as well as for Operations and Finance use.
Submission batching, receipting and policy processing is performed in Amabpol. The Data
captured during Cover Note and Policy Processing will be sent to ADC for premium
calculation (Duck Creek engine) and sent back to Amabpol to store and display.
