sanctuaries (with major wild life) of India. Mention the States where they are located. (7.5)

Q2. (a) What are solar cells? Draw a schematic diagram and enumerate its applications. (7.5)

(b) Discuss merits and demerits of large hydropower installations. (7.5)

Q3. (a) Classify air pollutants into different categories, indicating their sources. (7.5)

(b) Explain the importance of proper planning and zoning of industrial and residential areas
from the point of air pollution control.
