WORK HISTORY
COVALENT | VIRTUAL REALITY AND WEB DEVELOPER
March 2019 – Present
Virtual reality/web developer for a technology firm. As part of a team, implemented a colocation virtual
reality arena game for a local entertainment center using the Oculus Quest and Unreal Engine. Researched
and setup PlasticSCM for an internal virtual reality Unreal project for testing new ideas. Developed code
to interact with various objects. Created documentation and sample project to streamline creation of AR
web-based applications using HTML and JavaScript using AR.js. Worked on a team to implement a Unity
web-based training simulation for installing a vehicle monitoring and fueling device. Primary software
includes Unreal Engine, Unity, C#, Blueprints, AR.js, HTML, JavaScript, PlasticSCM, and Git.

TEKSYSTEMS | IT TECH
January 2019 – February 2019
Short-term contract position installing computers and phones in a new hospital. Used building plans to
place and install devices. Recorded the port and device number for later reference. Quality control
inspections allowed a secondary check to determine if each install was according to standards.

UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA | SENIOR DESIGN VIRTUAL REALITY
January 2018 – December 2018
Created a virtual reality puzzle game that utilized non-Euclidean geometry in its design. Technologies
included Oculus Rift and the Unity game engine.

UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA | NEUROLOGY LAB


August 2017 – December 2017
Developed website to allow physicians to view available studies at the University of Florida’s Department
of Neurology. Website allows physicians to filter studies based on patient symptoms. Designed backend
server-side functions to dynamically communicate with a database of research studies. MEAN stack was
used, and it was deployed to Heroku and a Mlab database.
UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA | GATOR VIRTUAL REALITY
January 2016 – December 2017
Completed a virtual reality environment that allows students conducting interior design projects to test
human-centered designs for wheelchair bound individuals. Project won first place in student competition.
The software and hardware used where Unity and Oculus Rift respectively.

UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA | DATABASES


January 2017 – March 2017
Created a SQL database using Oracle and designed an HTML page to make requests to the database. The
database held population statistics from a census. Data could be displayed in a table based on exclusion
and inclusion parameters. An external API was used to allow the data to be displayed on a graph.

JUDICIAL BOARD JUSTICE
August 2015 – December 2018
Held position of Assistant Recruitment Chair and was responsible for leading rush events and
coordinating activities throughout semester for new members. Held position of Judicial Board Justice to
resolve cases of misconduct within the fraternity.

Worked with Interior Design professor at the University of Florida to explore design concepts associated
with virtual reality.

2001 – 2012
Eleven years of scouting experience learning leadership skills and volunteering. Eagle Scout project
included leading a project with more than 25 volunteers and raising $6,000 in donations to construct
benches for Birdsong Nature Center.
