A. Define tempo based on example given.


B. Identify the difference between slow and fast tempo through beats and movement.
C. Demonstrate slow and fast tempo through imitating animal’s movement.
D. Give examples of fast and slow tempo.

Tempo is the the speed of the song, it can be
slow and it can be fast.
Just like how we sung the twinkle, twinkle
little star a while ago.

What is tempo again, class? The beat of twinkle, twinkle little star
was slow at first and then it goes faster.

For a better understanding, we will watch a


video about tempo by Mr. Greg. Let us follow
what Mr. Greg want us to do in the video.

Now, can you give me another examples of Sing a song such as rap song that has fast
slow and fast tempo. tempo, dancing and running and in slow
tempo is a love song.

E. GENERALIZATION
Again, tempo is the speed of the song. It can be slow just like how the turtle walk and
it can be fast how the horse run.

Identify the tempo of the following pictures.

I will group you into four group, you are going to imitate animals movement.
