Day 1: Departure from Naga to Manila

January 23, 2019

It was Wednesday and it was the last day of the midterm examination, also, it’s the day

that we will be having our exposure trip and we are going to depart from naga to manila at 9 pm.

I woke up early because I can’t contain the excitement that I’m feeling and also, I still need to

attend morning class. I’m happy because we don’t have any exams on that day and all I need to do

is to relax and think about what I am going to do in the whole exposure trip. After class, I stay for

a little while in my organization’s office and my friends were asking for a “pasalubong” when I

came back from the trip, I said that I will try to buy a “pasalubong” if there is a time for me to buy.

It was already 3 pm and I already went home and check all the things that I am going to bring, all

of my clothes, pants, shorts, socks, etc. were already ready but I forgot to buy medicines for in

case of something bad might happen to my stomach or I might get headache it will help me.

I bought medicines in SM and also, I bought snacks afterwards I went back to school at 5

pm, already complete with all the things that I need to bring and I stayed at the ABBS office

waiting until the departure with jovi, rio, robel, and tiffany. We planned to eat at the Ateneo avenue

because all of us haven’t eaten our dinner yet and it is still early but jovi, rio, robel, joshua and tiff

still have an exam in their major subject so I waited until they finished their exams and we ate

dinner together. Afterwards we went back to the office and we just talk about our plans in the

exposure trip and all of us were all excited. It was already quarter to 9 pm and we already went

downstairs and I went to the bathroom to pee because the time to travel from naga to manila will

be very long and I know there will be just a few stopovers. Jovi, rio, robel, tiff, joshua and I went

inside the bus and sat down to our assigned seats, I sat at the back of the bus because it has more

space and I can freely relax my knees. We were not able to leave yet because we will still waiting

for the last person and it was Jason but when Jason already went inside the bus my other classmates

went outside because they need to buy snacks to eat, after waiting we are already complete and

good to go so as the bus were slowly leaving the school our trip coordinator were discussing

something but I was already sleepy so I wasn’t able to listen what the coordinator is talking about.

I slept and I suddenly woke up because of the coldness in the bus I checked my phone and

saw the time and it was 12 am, I try to checked my social media and listen to music and I ate the

snacks that I bought and afterwards I arranged my jacket properly so that it will kept me warm and

then I sleep again. Then the first stopover was at the gasoline station I woke up, I don’t know what

time it was because I am so sleepy, I didn’t bother to check the time and location, I just saw most

of the class went outside to go to the bathroom and after 10 minutes we travel again. I woke up

and I checked the windows outside it was already dawn and I saw buildings and I think we are

already in manila because there was already a light traffic.

DAY 2

JANUARY 24, 2019

A. Arrival/Breakfast

7:04 am we arrived at manila and we arrived at the “Meyers”, the place that we are going to eat

our breakfast, we went outside the bus and took our personal belongings, the only thing that I bring

was my sling bag that contains the ABBS shirt, toothbrush and toothpaste, mouthwash, alcohol

and medicines. We were told that we cannot take a bath because if we are going take a bath it will

take a lot of time and the schedule of the trip will be affected and some of the place aren’t going

to be visited, so what we just did is we wash our faces and we brush our teeth and change our

clothes after then I went upstairs and I heard the music and smell the savory fragrance of the food.

The place were packed with other students because it is not our class only who have the

exposure it was the class that ma’am nannah is handling, I grabbed my plates, spoon and fork then

I went to the area that serves food and there was hotdog with some sweet and sour sauce that is

something that I never tried before, there was a scrambled egg and spam, I put rice on my plate

and put all of the food that was being served and at the end of the serving line I thought that they

are serving some soup but it was a porridge, I was a little disappointed because I already have rice

on my plate and they still serve some hot porridge but I still get some and I put a lot of fried garlic

and I grabbed a “calamansi”. After I grabbed my food, I started looking for a table but every table

was already taken, so I wait a little bit for others to finish and I sat there and I was the only one

eating my food after few minutes, rio and joshua were already done washing up and they also

grabbed their food and they join with me in the table and we ate our breakfast. Every table was

still full and most of my classmates are not yet done washing up there still downstairs because the

bathroom was not big and only 2 or 3 persons can enter the bathroom, there are still a lot of student

waiting downstairs but some took their breakfast first, gladly that I was able to wash up early.

Going back to where we are eating our breakfast, we were enjoying the music and some of

my classmates join also with us in the table and they started eating their breakfast and rio, joshua,

and I were already done eating our food so we went downstairs. Rio and joshua went to the

bathroom because they were going to brush their teeth and what I did was to find a socket to charge

my phone, I didn’t go to the bathroom yet because I know that there still a lot of people are waiting.

I sat down and charge my phone and also, I take off my shoes to relax my feet. Rio was already

done brushing his teeth and he went back inside the place to charge also his phone, I asked rio to

check my phone because I am going to the bathroom to brush my teeth and I checked my sling bag

and found out that I forgot to put in my toothbrush and the only thing that I bring was my toothpaste

and mouthwash, so I didn’t brush my teeth rather I just gargle my mouth with mouthwash. We

wait and wait after everybody was done and I was just busy with my phone and at 8 am we went

inside the bus already and we still wait for others and we departed from the place at 8:15 am and

were going now to our next destination which is the design center near pasay city.

While we are traveling to the design center ate sarah, one of our tour coordinators was

preparing the microphone in the bus to discuss the rules and regulations about the whole tour but

the microphone was not functioning so she just talks loud but still I barely can hear what she is

talking about because I’m at the back of the bus. After awhile the microphone was fixed, so now

I can clearly hear ate sarah and while we’re on our way she told us the history of manila and other

prominent places there. Without knowing the time we’re already at the place so we were told to

prepare our things notebook and pens because we will be having a talk about the design center.

 B. Design Center

It was my first time there and when we enter ma’am nannah was a little angry to some of

us students including me because she told us that we need to wear long socks not short foot socks.

We enter the design center and we sign for the attendance of the talk and afterwards we seated in

our assigned seats. Before the talk starts, we watch a video presentation about the nature being

destroyed by the works of man and afterwards there was a student called to interpret what was the

video about. The talk starts about discussing about the creative tool in which filipino products to

be created that is something new and innovative and at the same time it doesn’t harm the nature,

then the strategic tool which is valuing creation for sustainable economic growth and development

and they said that everyday they need new ideas of products so they need the strategic tool create

new ideas and inventions. The innovative tool which enhances the quality of human life example

of these are that they show us the bamboo products that they made. The core values of the company

were also discussed, these are creativity, value creation, innovation, and imagination. The

company also has design research team that experiment items if it’s good for creating a great

product design and also the design team which creates the new design from manipulated items.

While this was being discussed I suddenly felt going to pee so I went outside with some of my

classmates, juled and mac and also ma’am nannah went outside to show us where is the bathroom

located. I went back after peeing and the talk were almost done, I kept on writing notes about the

discussion and after the discussion everyone thought that it was already done but there was still

another person who is going to talk in front her name is cindy and she discusses about intellectual

property awareness. First, she defined the meaning of intellectual property and she said that it is a

creation of the mind literally and artistic works, she also defined exclusive rights, it means that it

is a right given to a creator over the us of his/her own creation. We talked about kinds of Intellectual

property and example of intellectual properties. Trademark was also discussed to us, it protects

visible sign such as brand, names, and logos, example of these are trademarks of Jollibee,

Facebook, shell, and yakult. The talk was almost finished and as I observed some of the students

weren’t listening but most of the students are taking down notes and they keep taking picture of

the presentations and the talk was almost finished and we were given a paper to rate the whole talk

and afterwards we submitted it. We went outside the discussion room and we took some pictures

before we went to our next destination.

C. Tramway

We leave in the design center at 11:15 am while we travel to tramway and eat our lunch there,

ate sarah started to show us and tell us the story of the places that we are passing through and most

of the students were busy on their phones including. We arrived at tramway at 11:30 am.

Everybody was already hungry, while the bus was being parked in the other side of the road, we

are already preparing ourselves and even though the bus is still moving, some of the students were

already standing because some of them wanted to pee already. While the bus was being park, I

saw a lot of students and kids also having their tour forming a line to also eat their lunch at

tramway. When bus was already parked, some of the students went outside immediately and

started to form a line in the tramway, it was my first time there so I took a picture of the place

because it was appealing. I went outside and cross the road and it is very hard to cross because

there was a lot of speedy cars, gladly there was a person who guided us to cross the road. So, there

was a lot of people falling in line and us students was given the priority to enter the restaurant.

While we are entering the restaurant, I can already smell the different aroma of the food. The

moment we enter the place we went to the counter first to get our hands stamped with ink and we

took our utensils and went to the food section and start picking our food to eat.

 It was my first time there and the ambiance of the place were pretty good, they have welcoming

staffs and there were many foods being served and what’s more amazing is that it is an eat all you

can restaurant. There were filipino food, Japanese food, Chinese food and other dishes that I

haven’t tasted before. So first I fall in line, because there was a lot of people grabbing different

sorts of food, a minute passed the line gets shorter and shorter until it’s my turn and I grabbed my

plate that is placed below the food area. I first get a little bit of rice because I want to try different

dishes, then I get some siomai, fish fillet, chicken and other dishes that I don’t know the names but

it tastes amazing. I went to my seat with jovi, rio, robel, joshua and tiff and they were already

eating because there were the first people who went outside the bus. Before I eat my food, I still

went back to grab some sushi, nacho and buchi so that I can continuously eat my food.

I went back to the seat and jovi and tiff were shocked because I grabbed a lot of food, and I

said that I am an athlete and I need to eat like an athlete but for me that food was still little for me

compared to what I eat after training in our volleyball club. I grab my spoon and fork and I started

to pray first and then I started eating my food, The foods were very delicious and I enjoy every

bite and also while were eating we were also discussing about the penalty if there are leftovers and

tiff was asking if the bone of the chicken is considered in the penalty and I tell her a joke that she

needs to eat the bone but of course she didn’t believe in me because I was already laughing. I am

almost done eating the rice and dishes and afterwards, I started eating the sushi it was very

delicious and after I ate the sushi, I ate the nachos with beef and salsa, It taste good but I didn’t

like it then I ate lastly the buchi and it taste amazing. I still want to eat but I realized that were still

going to travel for hours to get to the other destination and I worry if the nature will call me. I

already stop eating and I drink my water in my water cannister and I asked robel where is the

bathroom located because I am going to brush my teeth, joshua, rio and robel also went to the

bathroom to brush their teeth but they forgot to bring their toothbrushes and I offer them a

mouthwash instead and they started gargling their mouth with mouthwash after that ma’am nannah

went inside the male’s bathroom because there was a long line in the girls bathroom and in the

male’s bathroom there are no one using it so ma’am nannah uses the male’s bathroom and we went

outside to watch if somebody is going inside so that we can tell that our teacher is using the

bathroom. After that we went outside the place already went back inside the bus and Mac was

singing a song in bus because the bus has a videoke, it was very funny because mac doesn’t have

a good voice but his confidence is very high all of us were laughing and some of my classmates

took a video of mac singing a song with his not so amazing voice. While were waiting for others

to came back inside the bus, mac was still singing a song until he gets bored and he was already

embarrassed, after awhile all of us were inside the bus and we started traveling to the next

destination which is the shoe factory.

D. Nico Angelo Shoe Factory

We leave at the tramway at 12:30 pm and again ate sarah was talking but I was so sleepy

because my stomach was so full. I fell asleep and I woke up at 1:00 pm and were still on our way

to the shoe factory because it was located at Marikina. It was almost 1:30 pm and the bus driver

was confused on the way to the shoe factory and we arrived at the shoe factory at almost 2:00 pm.

We started preparing our things again notebooks and pen to take down notes about the processes

of making shoes in the factory. As we enter the factory, we can already smell the rubbers and

leathers and the adhesives being used to make the shoes, there were a lot of materials for making

shoes in the factory and there were people busy making the shoes and sandals because the shoes

are not made by machines rather it was made by the workers hand to hand. There were like 6

workers in the factory and the space of the factory were not much wide because it was packed with

materials, there was a worker who are tasked in sewing the shoes and in the other section there

were workers who are tasked for the designing of the shoes and also there were workers assigned

for putting adhesives to the shoes, many students went outside because they cannot contain the

smell of the rubber it somehow hurts our noses. After I took some pictures, we went to the other

section where they place their finished products and they are selling shoes and sandals at a factory

price.

Most of my girl classmates were buying sandals because it cost 100 pesos only and the quality

is great, I was looking for leather shoes also and everything was really a good quality and I asked

the lady if how much the leather shoes are, and she told me that it is only 900 pesos, I was shocked

at the price because that kind of leather shoes are being sold for 3,500 pesos in stores so I planned

on buying one since I do not have that kind of leather shoes and I can use it for any special

occasions. I was picking what color should I buy, first I was planning to buy the blue leather shoes

I asked them if they do have a size 10 of the shoes but sadly, they don’t have that size so I search

some shoes again and I found a good looking shoes it was color light brown that looks like a wood

and luckily there was a size 10. I tried the shoes and it was perfectly fit and I tried the size 11 but

it was already too big for me after that I bought the shoes already. I went to the section where

sandals are being sold and I remember that my mother loves to wear sandals so I picked a good-

looking sandal but I wasn’t sure about the size of the feet of my mother but I still bought a sandal

because it was only 100 pesos. After I bought those things it was placed in an eco-bag not in

plastics because in Marikina, the use plastics are banned, so I was very happy because I can still

reuse the eco-bag. I went back to the bus and placed the items that I bought below in my seat and

started to wait the other students to came back inside, most of them went to the bathroom and some

of us were busy in cellphone and some of the students are sleeping. Everybody went inside the bus

and were now headed to our next destination which is the Goldwin soap factory.

E. Goldwin Soap Factory

We arrived at the goldwin soap factory at 3:00 pm and we were still at Marikina, we waited a

little bit because the workers were busy in loading the truck with soap and after a while, we went

outside the bus and we fall in to two lines. We were divided into two groups because we were too

many for the staff of the factory to accommodate, I was part of the first group before we enter the

factory, we wear safety protections and we were told not to take a picture inside the factory. We

enter inside the factory there were a lot of machines in there it was a little hot inside because they

kept their machines functioning to make a soap, we went upstairs to see the workers packing the

soap and we were told not to disturb the workers but the moment we went inside some of the

workers talked to us if from what place we came from and we said from bicol and there was one

worker there who lives also in bicol. We stopped talking because we were told to keep quiet, I

observed a lot in that factory because there were a lot of workers and they were busy in putting the

soap in a small plastic and afterwards the other workers put them into a heating machine that helps

the plastic that has soap to get tightened and afterwards it was putted in the box. The factory

smelled soapy some of the students didn’t like the smell but for me I like it, after we went to the

production area we went downstairs again and we went to the place where the finished products

are stored but as the moment there were no products because it was already loaded in the truck and

will be exported from other countries like dubai. The tour inside the factory ended their and some

of the student’s asked questions about the factory and the products being offered, we went to office

of the factory so that we can buy some soap and I bought a guava and an oatmeal soap the guava

are for the pimple scars to be removed and the oatmeal soap is for a smooth skin. After that we

took a group picture there and we don’t have much time to go to the lucban hats so our trip

coordinator told us that were already going to the kusina ni kambal where we are going to eat our

dinner, we leave at the place at 4:30 pm.

F. Kusina ni Kambal

We arrived at the kusina ni kambal at 5:10 pm and we were told that the foods are going to be

served there are filipino dishes that has a twist. Everybody was already hungry and tired and we

prepared our things and went outside the bus. When we went outside the bus the other bus was not

yet there because our school has two the other bus carries the other students, so we went inside the

kusina ni kambal and waited a little bit because the foods was still being prepared after minutes of

waiting, we already started eating but we have to form a line based on our table so we seated at

the 4th table. Jovi, rio, princess, joshua, tiff, kyla, robel and I are seating at the 4th table, while

waiting for others to finish on getting their foods for dinner, I searched for a socket to charge my

phone because it was already in low battery, luckily there was a socket near behind my seat, I

charged my phone and we were already called to get our food so we quickly went to the food

section. There was a fish fillet, fresh lumpia, pansit and etc. the food that was served there were

something new to my taste, it didn’t taste bad, the food taste good, however the serving of their

foods is minimal. We enjoyed eating the foods their and were already excited because afterwards

we will be checking in the city garden hotel, finally we can take a good bath and rest. After were

done finishing our dinner, we went outside and wait for others to finish their dinner also, we took

a picture outside the place. There is footwear museum near the kusina ni kambal and we went there

to take a picture but we didn’t go inside the museum after picture taking, we already went inside

the bus and we departed from kusina ni kambal to go back to manila and check in the hotel.

 G. City Garden Hotel

Through out the whole trip from Marikina going back to manila I fell asleep and as I woke up

were already near at the hotel because the bus already stopped and as I glanced trough the window,

I saw the sign of the hotel. We prepare our things and went outside the bus, I was the last one who

went outside and rio and jovi were waiting for me because they have my luggage. We went inside

the hotel and we were welcomed by the staffs and the hotel was so cold good thing that I was

wearing my jacket so I felt comfortable. We waited for a minute to check in because there was a

problem that the available room can only accommodate three persons but it was resolved already,

we waited inside a hall while rio was the one who went to the counter to get the key to our room.

Our room is assigned at the 5th floor we went there and the room was so great it has 2 beds and

another in the floor, we put our things and we started to prepare because we were planning to go

outside and buy some food it was almost 8 pm.

My roommates were joshua, robel and rio, joshua took a bath first and while waiting I played

a music in my phone and we were just chilling. After joshua was finished taking a bath, I was the

next one who took a bath but before I took a bath,I prepared my clothes to wear for tomorrow so

that I will not be worrying anymore. I grabbed the guava soap that I bought and I grabbed my

short, shirt, brief and toothbrush, the towel was already provided in the hotel. I went inside the

bathroom and it was not big but it looks good because of the bathtub. I started to switch the faucet

to fill up the bathtub and then I relaxed and took a bath, after that I brush my teeth and wear my

brief, shorts, and shirt. I went outside the bathroom and took a rest for a minute while listening to

a music and rio and robel doesn’t took a bath yet it was already 8:40 pm and I started to tell them

that they should take a bath already or not so we can go outside and buy some food. Rio and robel

took a bath and after that we went downstairs and it was almost 9:30 we saw our other classmates

they told us that the guard wouldn’t let go outside anymore because the guard was told that no

students should leave the hotel at 9 pm so what we did we went again upstairs and good thing that

joshua went outside before the curfew and still outside so rio chatted him to buy a chicken with

rice in ministop. We went back to our room and we just watched a movie, we watched bumblebee

but it was already late night almost 12 midnight and I fell asleep and I woke and the movie is still

playing, I turned off the tv because rio and robel were already sleeping but as I observed joshua

was not yet in the room. I sleep again and I woke up at 3 am because someone was knocking in

our room, I opened the door and it was joshua carrying the food from ministop, he went inside the

room and I grabbed the food and started eating because I suddenly felt hunger. I try to wake up rio

and robel but they were in deep sleep, so I just continued eating my food and joshua was already

in the bed trying to sleep but he couldn’t. I finished my food and after I went back to the sleep but

before I set an alarm for 5:00 am because the call time was 6 am. The alarm ranged and I woke up

but rio, joshua, and robel were still in deep sleep so I didn’t wake them but I prepared my things

and I started to wear pants and the opm shirt. I started waking them up and finally they were now

awake and they already start preparing. Joshua and I went downstairs to eat breakfast while rio

and robel were still preparing their things.

Day 3

January 25, 2019

A. Breakfast

Joshua and I went downstairs to eat the breakfast and we saw a lot of luggage and bags in the

hall and some of the student were already done eating their breakfast but there were also a lot who

are still preparing, we grabbed a plate and we started to get our food, there was a lot of food in the

hotel but I only pick was the potato wedges, rice, german sausage and pumpkin soup there were

no available tables so joshua and I waited for other to finish, jovi and her other friends were already

done so we went to their table and sat there. Joshua and I started eating, the potato wedges were

so delicious and I still get some more potato wedges and I also went to get some waffles. There

was only two waffle remaining and I was about to get the waffle then cyrra also want some waffle

so I gave the other waffle to cyrra. There was chocolate, blueberry, strawberry and maple syrup

for the waffles, I chose the maple cyrup because it was my favorite. I went back to the table but

still rio and robel hasn’t yet finished preparing and they are still in the 5th floor. Most of the students

were already done eating their breakfast and they were already preparing their bags and luggages

and surrendering the keys to the counter. After few minutes rio and robel were already at the dining

hall and they started to pick their breakfast but there were no spoon and fork left for them to use

so they asked a spoon and fork to the staff. Joshua and I were already done with our breakfast and

rio and robel were still eating theirs, so joshua and I headed back to the room to prepare our bags

and luggages to bring them down in the first floor. Rio and robel asked us a favor to bring their

bags and things also in the first floor. Jovi went with us to our room to help us carry the bags of

rio and robel.

 B. Check Out

Joshua and I went back to our room with jovi, she helped us to arranged the things of rio and

robel. We checked everything from the bed until to the bathroom whether there are things that rio

and robel owns. We were already done arranging all the things and we started to bring the things

outside, before that I brush my teeth frst. While we are bringing the things outside and checking if

they are things that are left, rio and robel came back to the room and they said that they are already

going to carry their bags. After that we went downstairs and rio surrendered the key to the counter

and we took a picture inside the hotel with the whole class. We wait for other student to be in the

hall and also, we are still waiting for the bus to come. A minute had passed and the bus is already

outside the hotel, we already went inside the bus and we wait for others.

While waiting for others in the bus, I glance at the window and take a picture of the sign of the

hotel because it was a great view. Everyone was already at the bus and the other bus conductor

were counting us if there is someone missing, he counted and he confirmed to the trip coordinator

that everyone is already at the bus, after that we already departed from the city garden hotel and

were headed to our first trip of the third day. We are going to the Zenith food Inc. to see the process

of the how foods in Jollibee are made. We travelled very long and I don’t where we are already at,

after we leave from the hotel garden suite, I slept because, I didn’t have enough sleep in the hotel.

Throughout the departure from manila to laguna, I slept while listening songs of clara benin from

spotify. I woke suddenly because of the advertisement in spotify and I checked the time it was

almost 9 am. I went back to sleep after the advertisement stopped and I started to play again clara

benin songs because it was so relaxing to my ears. I woke up after a minute because the bus was

already slowly moving and I think it was going to enter inside a gate. The bus entered and park

their and some of the students went outside to use the bathroom somewhere and I was just sitting

and waiting inside the bus.

C. Zenith Food Inc.

We arrived at the Zenith Food Inc. at 9:38 am, the trip took almost two hours because we left

at the city garden hotel at 7:39 am. The bus parked inside and again there was a lot of students

from different places, they were also having their own exposure trip. We went inside the Jollibee

foods commissary and we went upstairs and fall in line. The smell of the place was like the smell

of the chicken in Jollibee restaurants, it smells so good. While we were falling in line, we were

instructed not to take photos inside while observing the different process line. We waited for 5

minutes because we were divided into three lines, the first line were the one who went to observe

the different process. I was on the third line but I moved to the first line so that I will not wait any

longer and after I can finally went to the bus to sleep again because I was still tired.

Jollibee is already servicing over 1000 stores from different country and over 1 million of

chicken joy are being served in a day. It is among the Asia’s best producing products. I learned

there that they don’t produce bread for naga stores in bicol because it will take time to deliver

rather they accredit bread maker to make bread for the Jollibee store in bicol. There were 6 process

line in where different foods of Jollibee were being processed. The first is the patty line were

burger steaks and burger patty are being made. The second is the sauce line, the sauce line was for

the Jollibee sauces and also Greenwich pizza and pasta sauces. The third was the meat line and the

fourth was the pie line were peach mango pie, Choco mallow, and ube pie are made. The fifth line

was the dry blending line which spices that are used to cook the products are being made. The

sixth line was the bun line were bun for burgers and rolls are made. Every line has different workers

and processes and after observing all of those I went outside already and use the bathroom after

wards I went back to the bus and chill and wait for others to finish.

D. Jollibee (Lunch)

I thought that we were going somewhere to take our lunch but we ate our lunch inside the bus.

Before we ate our lunch, we waited for everyone to went inside the bus and after everyone was

inside the bus the foods from Jollibee were distributed. I was at the back of the bus so I was the

last one who received the Jollibee food but it took so long because there was only one who was

distributing the food. First we were given some plastic spoon and fork and a straw, then I waited

for several minutes to get my lunch, It contains two piece chicken, gravy, one cup of rice and a

peach mango pie and also we were given an orange juice.

When the food was already distributed to all of us, we started eating our lunch. It was very

uncomfortable for us to eat because there was no table in the bus and what we just did is we placed

the box containing the food to our lap but still it was very uncomfortable. I ate the first piece of

chicken joy, it was a little warm but it was so tasty. Everyone loves Jollibee and even though we

were uncomfortable eating at the bus, we still enjoy every bite of the chicken. After I finish eating

the first piece of chicken joy, I started to eat rice with the second piece, I poured some gravy all

over the rice and it was so delicious. After eating the all of the chicken and rice I started to eat the

peach mango pie, it was sweet and that pie was my favorite among all other pies in other restaurants

because it is not too much sweet and the crust of the pie has a little crunch that I enjoy every piece

of bite. I was already done with my food and I grabbed my orange juice and started to drink it, I

was observing everyone some of them are not yet finished and some of them didn’t finish their

food because they cannot eat properly inside the bus. I throw my garbage in a plastic bag provided

by the bus conductor. After our lunch we headed to our next destination to the Gardenia Bakeries.

E. Gardenia Bakeries

When we started to depart from the zenith foods Inc., almost everyone of us slept. I woke up

when we are already near the gardenia and I was not using my phone to reserve its battery so that

I can take a picture when we go Enchanted Kingdom. We entered at the gardenia bread factory, as

we entered, we can already smell the bread even though were not yet on the actual place where

bread was being made. Before we observe the different processes of making the bread, we went

inside a room to watch a video presentation about the gardenia and how bread is being made. The

first step in making a bread is blending, it is a computerized blending of the exact amount of quality

ingredients needed. Second step is the production of sponge mix, which the specially formulated

gardenia enriched flour, purified water, yeast, vitamins, and minerals are added together to form

the sponge which is released into a trough. The third step is the sponge dough is kept at the

fermentation room, then after the sponge is mixed again with other ingredients to form the dough.

The dough is then divided into the required weight for each oaf and conveyed to a rounder, at the

rounder each piece of dough is kneaded. The dough pieces go through the checkweigher, pieces

that are over or under the required weight are automatically rejected. The dough is then left to rest

in the intermediate proofer for 10 minutes before being molded and placed into the pans. After that

the dough is shaped according to the desired configuration and then automatically placed into the

pans. The pans are lidded automatically to give the bread its uniform rectangular shape. The yeast

is allowed to rise further under controlled temperature and humidity. After that the breads are

baked in the tunnel oven for about 20 minutes at a temperature of approximately 200 degrees

Celsius. Hot from oven, the freshly baked loaves are then removed by vacuum suction before

being conveyed to a bread cooler, the bread cooler can hold up to 8000 loaves of bread per hour,

the freshly baked and hot bread loaves need to be kept in the cooler for about an hour until slightly

above room temperature before it is ready for packing. When the loaves are sufficiently cooled. It

is then ready to be sliced, wrapped and made convenient for consumption. We went to different

processing line and we ended at the place where the breads are being stored and made to deliver

from other places, we took a photo as whole class then we already went outside to buy some bread

and also, we took a picture again outside the factory. Everyone was falling in line to buy some

bread but I didn’t buy because I can just buy at home. I went back to the bus and wait for others

and we finished early than we expected, we headed now to the enchanted kingdom because the

exposure trip was done and we are now going to enjoy our last day of tour.

F. Enchanted Kingdom

As we travel going to the enchanted kingdom, I observed that some of the students were excited

and some were just sleeping. I was half sleepy and excited but throughout the trip on our way to

enchanted kingdom I slept. I woke up because of the ray of the sun passing through the bus

window, it was hot and I arranged the window curtains and start sleeping again. Minutes had

passed I woke up because of ate Sarah’s voice saying that were already near at the enchanted

kingdom as we enter the parking lot of the enchanted kingdom there were 3 students who are

currently having their work immersion in enchanted kingdom. They welcomed us and they gave

information about the enchanted kingdom, we weren’t able to hear the senior high school students

well because their voice was not loud. After the students welcomed us inside the bus, I glanced at

the window and there were a lot of kids and students from different school falling in line in the

entrance of enchanted kingdom, because the enchanted kingdom is not opened yet. We waited for

almost 30 minutes inside the bus and we were told to memorize where the bus was parked because

was a little far from the entrance of enchanted kingdom, there were a lot of buses in the parking

lot and it was so confusing, we were instructed to get back before 7 pm and enjoy everything in

the enchanted kingdom because all rides are free. We went outside the bus and of course I was the

last one who came out the bus and I rushed to the entrance to catch up with jovi, rio,robel, tiff, and

joshua. Before we enter the enchanted kingdom to enjoy the rides and all, we were given a card

to present to the guard. We fall in line and after we went inside and we were just roaming around

deciding on what rides are we going to try first but as we roam around all the rides were packed

with students falling a long line. We, Jovi, princess, kyla, rio, tiff, joshua, robel and I decided to

fall in line and wait in the ride called Ekstreme tower where we will be seating in a round disc and

it goes all the way up, it was very high but before that we waited for almost 3 hours to ride in that

tower. Kyla and tiff were already hungry and they didn’t wait for the line anymore they went to

the food stalls to eat. It was my first time to that ride and it was very thrilling because we were

slowly going to the top and after that we were suddenly dropped, it feels like I was going to die.

After that ride there was no much time left for us to wait for the other rides because it’s already 6

so rather we just roam around and played some games that offers stuffed toy prizes. Rio wants to

try the basketball which if he was able to shoot the two balls he will won a prices but he has only

a first try and the ring was too high, on the other side there was game called ring toss where rings

are tossed to the bottles and when the rings shoot a prize will be won. I convinced rio and jovi to

play ring toss because there is a lot chance to win there because it provides 15 rings and it needs

only one ring to be shoot in the bottle. We tried it for the first, we paid 100 pesos for 15 rings and

we started to toss rings hoping that it will shoot in one of the bottles, I thought it was just simple

but it was very hard. I was down to only 4 rings and I tossed the 4th ring and I was shocked because

it went in, I was so happy and rio and jovi were also happy for me. I was stopped by the staff in

playing and the staff told me to pick any prize that I want, I picked the rainbow poop stuffed toy

because it was so cute, the other stuffed toy was too big but it was not cute. After that jovi took a

picture of me with the prize I won. I was so happy and my classmates were jealous because they

also played the ring toss and they never won, juled, my classmate also won a dog stuff toy in a

game where there are three cups formed like a tower and it should be shot down all by just one

ball shaped bullet. Juled and I were the only people in our class who won a large prize. It was

almost quarter to 7 and we already decided to go back inside the bus. We waited for others and we

headed to the place called ryuma, it is a Japanese restaurant and we are going to eat our dinner and

afterwards we will be going home.

G. Ryuma

We left at enchanted kingdom almost 7:30 pm and we were all still talking about the rides, the

games, the foods and other stuff, I can say that all of us enjoyed in enchanted kingdom. As we

travel to the place ryuma I slept again because the travel was long it took like one and a half hour.

While I was sleeping I was hugging the stuffed toy that I won and I was able to sleep well because

it was fluffy and warm. We already arrived at ryuma and the place was very bright and it was

really like a place from japan having a lot of welcoming staff. As we enter the place the foods were

already at the table and I seated with rio, jovi, tiff, princess, kyla, robel and joshua.

There was a band in ryuma and they were singing songs that we requested, we started to open

the bento box, it was full of great food. We started eating while we enjoy the last night of the day

because afterwards we are already going back to naga. We ate the food while we enjoy the filipino

songs being played. The food was so delicious and the song was sang beautifully, everybody was

just enjoying chatting about the memories they had throughout the entire trip. What I most enjoyed

in the food was the takoyaki it was Japanese balls filled with vegetables and squid it was very

delicious. We were already done with our foods and some of the student went outside to use the

bathroom and take a picture in the place and while we are finishing our food ma’am nannah sang

a song. Before we leave the place we took a picture outside the venue as a whole class and

afterwards we already went inside the bus and then we departed to the place.

DAY 4

January 26, 2019

Arrival

We travelled again for almost 10 hours and I slept but I woke up because my knee was aching,

the pain was excruciating and I think because of the coldness inside the bus. I tried to stretch my

knee but there was no enough space for me to stretch my knee so what I did was, I stand up even

though the bus was on high speed because I really can’t take the pain. After awhile the pain was

already gone then I went back to sleep. It was a long night of travel and I woke up when we had a

stop over and we are already near in camarines sur because the bus had a stopover in daet. I went

outside to use the bathroom and I saw rio went outside and he was shaking because of the cold

temperature inside the bus, he went into a store to buy and eat some noodles and I stayed there to

talk to him and also jovi was there. I was laughing so hard because even though rio was already

eating the hot noodles he was still shaking until he finished the food. Jovi and I laughed so hard

and rio was also laughing with himself. After that I already went inside the bus and rio still stayed

outside the bus because he was still cold. I decided to let rio use my stuffed toy for him to hug it

and gave him warmth. We waited for few minutes and we started to continue our travel way back

to naga. I slept again while listening some chill music to make me sleep because my knee was

starting to ache again. I woke up at 5 am and I didn’t sleep already and we are already near naga,

we arrived at the Ateneo at 7 am and we already started to get our things and some of the student’s

parents were waiting inside the school. Jovi, rio, robel, joshua and I decided to stay at the abbs

office first to arrange our things and afterwards robel, jovi and I will ride in the same jeep to go to

our own home. Before we leave, I saw my orgmates were busy in transferring gallons of water to

the jeep, I rembered that this day we will be goin to buhi to donate gallons of water to the people

who suffered flood because of typhoon usman. I helped them in loading the gallons of water to the

jeep and afterwards I went back to the abbs office and we already went home. When I get home I

give my pasalubong to my family and I change my clothes and started to sleep. The whole exposure

trip was full of great memories and also insight about the work and processes of different

companies.
