Reflection in English

As a student who is not progressive on english subject,

I have learned to appreciate the peaceful, yet exhilarating moment
when my mind engages with topics and lessons that sometimes I
don’t really understand, but at the end of the day, this lessons that
I don't really understand has a purpose to improve myself on
something that can make me better and get everything easier
throughout the whole class not only on english subject.
At first we review about the literature that open our
minds for another lesson which is about "Anglo-American
Literature. I enjoyed learning and knowing the histories and other
facts about the anglo-american literature. We have also tacle the
poem " The Seven Ages of Man" that helped us determine the
different roles in life for being a responsible citizen or person. I've
also learned about the history of english language, the anglo and
many others. Next, we have tacled about production of critical
sounds that helped me to take advantage about "rhymes" because
of sounds. We have also discuss about different literary devices like
onomatopoeia, aliteration, assonance and others. There is also a
lesson about foot and meter and capitalization and punctuations
rules that also helped us for poetry. Our activities and some quizzes
literaly helped us to challenge and understand more about the
topics. Second to the last discussion is about interjections or words
or phrases that delivers strong feelings. And lastly we have learned
and discuss the poem beowulf which is an epic poetry that shows
being a hero and passion.
I'm just very thankful for finishing a quarter in grade
9,which is also very challenging, but I have learned so much from it
very well not only topics and poems but also not to give up on
something, just do the best all you can.
