The key growth areas for the Company have been identified
in generation capacity with a focus on renewables,
transmission, distribution and new & value added
businesses.

The Company’s business is primarily driven by strong


performance by regulated businesses, renewables and cost
optimization.
Tata Power has evolved several policies related to
sustainable development of the Company, which aim to
integrate economic progress, social responsibility and
environmental concerns with the objective of improving the
quality of life for all its stakeholders.

 TATA primarily focuses on a client based approach to


planning out their activities and projects.
 They use tools such as presentations to show the range
of services available and required by the client
 They then enquire about the client or firm approach in
order to prioritize their needs
 They present their price points which is generally
COP+Profit % as given in the budget
 Then negotiations arise to arrive at a final agreement
 After a sale is closed the client and firm remain in
regular touch to address grievances etc.
