A. Background
The idea for this lecture grew from a reality that a survival of business’ and
public services’ organizations is closely related to its environment. A political
– economy – social - cultural – ideology aspect are recognized as an
externalities. A pressure of conflict in internal organization can be avoided by
utilization of externalities aspects. These situations are already recognized as
a way of management decision making process in a daily life. By
understanding and solving the root of problems, the management works for
developing managerial capacities and organizational strengthen in many
macro and micro stress.

In this class, many lectures from many aspects’ background will deliver their
experience and methods on understanding and solving the root of problems.
The varieties of lecturing background will be an enrichment of organizational
insights and its environments.

B. PURPOSE
The expectation of this class is that students able to :
1. understand varies methods on many business external aspect
2. develop a sharp and depth externalities method on many management
problems
3. presentation a root of the problems and solve it empirically in selected
organizations
4. communicate a clear case report

C. RULE OF THE CLASS
To ensure the quality of class, the rule of class should be raised, as:
1. Students should read and prepare the class material

2. Students should do the project and class assignments

3. Students come on time at class.

D. EVALUATION
The evaluation of this class will based on the educational process insight of
the daily class activities. The evaluated activities are:
1. Big Project of mediation case (30%)
Build a conflict case of industry, which have criteria:
- history of case in sequence
- profile of actors
- impact and benefit of each event in the case
- tell the case as a casual relationship story
- strategy and steps on a negotiation mediation

2. Big project of mediation film (30%)

3. Class assignment from each session (30%)


These regular activities are evaluated in each session of the classes for
around one hour. The grade of evaluation can be mentioned as :
Very Good: students who give a significant contribution for problem
solving
Good: students who give an opinion directed to the problem
solving
Fairly Good: students who give an extremely sharp opinion but not
directing to the problem solving

No Point: students who give no opinion or repeat other students’
opinion
4. Midterm and Final (10%)
The Final Grade is an accumulation of whole five activities, with an
arrangement as:
A = 85% - 100%
B = 75% - 84%
C = 65 % - 74%
D = 50% - 64%
E = <50
