Job Description & Responsibilities

 Study of technical specifications of Items of work.
 Quality control as per FQAP as per technical specifications.
 Checking quality of raw material at source and site as per the MORT&H frequency.
 Acceptance of Manufacturer’s Test Certificate of bought out items and material like
 Cement, steel, construction chemicals.
 Preparing of Methodology Statement with respect to specifications /IS – IRC codes.
 Monitoring day-to –day activities pertaining to quality in consultation with Site-in
 Charge and Client/Consultants.
 Sample collection for testing and approvals.
 Maintaining QC lab and equipment in conforming condition.
 Arrange for inspection by consultant for all activities
 Ensure quality and safety requirements
 Conduct regular site inspection, issue and follow up nonconformity and corrective
 Action forms.
 Inspection & testing of incoming material such as aggregate bricks, steel, admixture, etc.
 Preparing Mix designs of temperature control concrete.

reclaiming and delivering the aggregate to the mixing plant.
 Sampling and testing for Aggregate proven by test to meet all requirement specification. Job
mix for various grade of concrete as change source of material.
 Physical test for Course Aggregate for concrete & bituminous works
 Physical test for Fine Aggregate
 Physical test for cement

Records and Charts:-

 Weight of cement, water and admixture

 Weight of aggregate for each size shall be recorded separated
 Temperature of concrete immediately after mixing
 Mixing time of each batch when all the materials are loaded into the mixer
