Introduction to e-Portal
The CPSP e-Portal is a computerized database in which every Registered Resident / Trainee has
to make the entries during the training period. To access the e-Portal first of all open the CPSP
website www.cpsp.edu.pk
(Note always use Mozilla Firefox web browser to open CPSP e-Portal)

GUIDELINES FOR UPDATING RESIDENTS e-PORTAL

Login
A window open with the caption CPSP e-Portal. In the following screen shot, select the USER
TYPE i.e. Trainee and then enter User Name and Password and then click on Login button.

A: Account Information
A window open with caption Dashboard. Click on the blue color ACCOUNT INFORMATION
icon.

Step 1: Personal Profile

A control will be diverted to a new page as shown below. In the following screen shot, click the
blue color PERSONAL PROFILE icon.

A window open with the caption PERSONAL PROFILE. Than go to right side, click on the
EDIT button.

Step 3: To View Personal Profile for Editing

A window appear with the caption Edit Personal Profile. Fill the required fields. After editing in
the personal profile click on the submit button.

B: Trainee Registration
By clicking on green Trainee Registration option on Dashboard, the Trainee / Resident will see
their registration details.

GUIDELINES FOR CASE ENTRIES

Step 1:
To access the e-Portal first of all open the CPSP website at www.cpsp.edu.pk. Website will
open there is an icon e-Portal / e-log book, click on this icon.

GUIDELINES FOR CASE ENTRIES

Step 1:
After clicking on the e-Portal / e-log book icon, a window open with the caption CPSP e-Portal.
In the following screen shot, select the USER TYPE (Either Trainee / Supervisor) and then enter
User Name and Password and then click on Login button.

Step 2:
A window open with the caption Dashboard. Click on the green color CPSP E-LOG BOOK icon.

Step 3:
As soon as you will click on CPSP e-log book option, control will be diverted to a new page as
shown below. In the following screen shot, Summary with Training, Rotational Training, Journal
Club, Paper / Poster Presented and Paper Published details will be displayed.
Your Current Supervisor name shown in the bottom of the screen.
Click on left side Training button to view the entries detail or add new entries.

Step 4:
As you click on left side Training button, list all entries & Add New button will be displayed. Click on
list all entries button control will be directed to a new page with caption Training.

Step 5:
As soon as you click on left side Training tab and click on Add New button control will be directed
to a new page with caption Add Training Entry for entering new case entries.

After scrutinizing the entry detail, select the status Send to Supervisor e.g. Yes & No.

Step 7:
As you click on left side Rotational Training button, list all entries & Add New button will be
displayed. Click on list all entries button control will be directed to a new page with caption
Rotational Training.

displayed. Click on list all entries button control will be directed to a new page with caption
Journal Club, to enter the discussions with supervisor or senior residents on articles or research
papers related to their cases.

Step 16:
As you click on left side Reports button, Competency Chart & Rotation Chart will be
displayed. Click on Competency Chart option, Reports of Competency Chart will be displayed,
select year, status, competency type and then press the submit button to view your residency
training case entries, year – wise.

As you click on left side Reports button, Competency Chart & Rotation Chart will be
displayed. Click on Rotation Chart option, Reports of Rotation Chart will be displayed, select
year, status, rotation type and then press the submit button.
