Once reservoir mineralogy and fluids are properly understood and verified with existing core
data, they can be contrasted with log responses using neural networks to extract facies with
geological and reservoir attributes. These attributes allow you to better understand permeability
behavior across reservoirs. Permeability can also be modeled using logs weighted with core data
and contrasted against previous results.

Connectivity with the reservoir model

Petrophysical results are easily upscaled and sent to the reservoir modeling world to enhance
your field-development strategy. The Techlog platform provides efficient links from the wellbore
scale to geological models, geomechanics, and reservoir engineering in Petrel* software.

Supporting reservoir exploitation

Techlog software enables log analysts and petrophysicists to perform both basic and
advanced interpretation, allowing for rapid and accurate characterization of reservoirs to
meet operational demands. Techlog sensitivity-analysis capabilities support detailed studies
for improved decision making in development planning, including selection of future logging
tools and drilling programs.
